WTLIB (Watchtower library (cd)) installation

Pls do not mix up with jw library. 😉

I try to install WTLIB on a MAC (apple silicon M1)

Like my previous Mac I tried with Wine & a bottler.

Wine installed without problems.

Then downloaded ISO file from JW and mount it.

When bottling I get that error msg:

###BOTTLING### default.sh

I searched around and do not see any solutions…  but crossover a soft to buy.

I’d prefer to avoid that…

Some says Wine does not work for M1 chips others says yes…

I found a site.talking about homebrew (https://docs.brew.sh/Installation)  to install wine,  anyone tried that one ?

Any tips for WTLIB installation on a MAC M1 are welcome !

Thanks in advance.

Thanks fo r your comments.

@howudodat I do not know playon Mac. I'll check it out. thks. for WINE I installed it and try with a bottler ... "porting kit" I do not see what you you mean.

@jwhess this is not an issue with WTLIB but it use on a Mac with an "additional" software which I do wish to have free... 😉 Thks anyhow.

Seems like they would make an installer called "shoehorn" to use when trying to install software made for one OS on a different OS

I hope you get this figured out

By the sounds of it Mac's seem to attract those who like to drink, or makes you needing to drink!

Wine, port, bottler 😉 🥴
