 it does seem odd that if the US can Create a hurricane they would unleashed it against their own country 

 

Also if they're so sophisticated they can defend against a weather attack they should be able to just stop a hurricane like Matthew

 

This hurricane looks more like a natural disaster than a man-made one

We just heard from the sister that is assigned to the WEC-F, she said the building is not damaged. Some trees fell and they don't have power yet. They will return to the WEC-F as soon as power is restored.

Some of the friends in Gainesville opened their houses for those that evacuated from the wec

My brother's service overseer had some staying with him

 

I just found out our cable and internet service is not going to be restored till Monday afternoon at the soonest

That was my thought too, brother John.  I didn't mean to imply that Matthew was due to weather manipulation, just that such a thing is being practised by certain governments though I doubt they are smart enough to be able to stop such a thing once they have unleashed it.

I am sad to hear of the loss of life, but that many are going to be OK.  Even one of our moderators lives in Florida. We are glad her and her family are ok too.

NBC News tonight reported the USA death toll from Matthew is now at 17. 

There is fear that many dams and levees may burst from all the floodwaters.

Is there any information about the people that decided to ignore the mandatory evacuate order?

Don't know if it was due to ignoring warnings .... but, there were almost 900 "fast moving water rescues" in some of those flooded areas.
