Well, ol’ man winter not only want to keep a toe-hold but his whole body wants to stay around. 😡😡😡😡

 

Looks like the whole U P of Michigan is forecasted for over a foot of snow starting Wednesday night. 

 

I am soooooo over this.

Yesterday & today - mild low 60's F with chance of ducks in the cement pond.

Hopefully you can see them. They are at edge of pool. Pic taken thru screen. Tree in way from balcony.

It's equally warm here. The downfall to that is I have a very aggressive weed, (supposedly a nutritious weed but aggressive NTL) in the garden where I planted peas and beets. I cannot do any weeding until the veg get bigger. And the rest of the garden is very weedy but it's so rainy I can't get out there, don't want to slog away in the mud! Warm, rainy......grass knee high (exaggerating)

Now my area of the world is under a Winter Storm Watch 😳 from late tonight thru Thursday night. Snow, freezing rain is possible.

 

5-10 inches of wet snow.

 

Not happy ‘bout this. Poor robins are back here.

Well, Ross and I are now under a weather advisory till 2 am tomorrow (Friday).

 

But Marquette 40 miles west of us is under a winter storm warning also until 2 am tomorrow. 😳

 

i hope it gets it all out of its system before Saturday.  Do not want to have another Circuit Assembly cancelled.

 

It’s coming up from south of us, which is where the city where we are having the assembly.

A guy was coming up from Lower Michigan to buy our corn planter.  He called when he got halfway to the bridge to say driving conditions

were so bad he had to turn back.  Said he would try to make it again tomorrow.

So far, all we got here, in Trenary, is high winds.

We almost had sunshine earlier. But it is coming up our way from south of us as the map shows.

 

Just saw where they extended the advisory till 8 am tomorrow morning. Let’s hope they don’t continue extending it like they did during other winter storms.

Sissy if I can make you feel better we're having so much rain the prehistoric weed that is growing in my garden has a tap root that defies my shovel!! It loves all the rain! I'm slogging in the mud to get them out and am losing so far. Mud up to my knees. Rain to make me drenched in 5 minutes. Grass is growing so fast we have to mow in the RAIN! Clumps everywhere and being tracked in the house by the fur-babies, mess...mess. It's not freezing here but the mud is mind-boggling.

Our 'Wet season', has passed, so more visitors. The Superyacht Twizzle docked today. At 57 meters (189') all the (formerly) 'Big' boats in the Marina all pale and look tiny against this monster!

Only sleeps 8; (but has 11 crew. )

Now to see it I can spot the (Aussie) Super Model owner!!!

I was well aware of this I watched the news as it formed and grew in size. One headline said 800,000 people had been evacuated as it approached landfall, supposedly a record. Most likely no effort was made to down play it. Perhaps you do not watch much news. On the otherhand I would never have found it on youtube as I don't go there very often, so thanks for the posting. The good news is that it was not of the scale first feared, for the most part Bangledesh dodged the bullet.

Hi Bro Jerry,

I only heard of it a few days ago while browsing on the news online. However, many in our area(s)

of NY/NJ had not even heard of it,  so  I check You Tube to see the extent of it. 

In the ministry,  I try to be up on current events and happenings that I  may discuss with a HH.

But, I would love to lessen my news viewing - as I watch too much news! And - sometimes have to 

quickly turn away from what I hear..

We got some nasty weather headed our way...

When my 3rd oldest sister got married, she lived in a small farm house down same road as 2nd oldest sister.

A couple decades later 2nd oldest' oldest daughter moved into house that 3rd oldest had lived in.

 

That place was a lightening magnet. Niece even had phone and wall it attached to blown out.
