Let's start a pet thread!

Recommended Posts

I don't have pets because I don't have time to care for them, but in the New World I'd like to have a dinosaur pet. Not the carnivore ones, a herbivore dinosaur...baby, not adult. I like reptiles and caught a lot of them in the fields. Small lizards.

I love dogs....my daughter has an Australian Shepherd / and he has a lot of energy! I love keeping him for her...personally, I fell in love with a Boston Terrier 7 years ago, I would love to have a Boston Terrier...I have been searching for years, shelters, and adoptions, etc. They are sooooo expensive! So - it does not look like I will ever get my little BT...but, I love viewing the picture of the pets on board - The Giraffe is beautiful.

You can look at my avatar to see what my pet is. Coalie is our second Border Collie, Our first, Steve, died at the age of 12 from cancer. Very sad. This guy isn't Steve, but he does a good job of being himself. I wish I had discovered Border Collies years ago. I just love these dogs. We also have two cats. We have had ferrets in the past. They are really funny creatures. The cost a lot when they get sick, though. Many of them in the US come from one breeder and they apparently have a genetic problem that makes them get sick,

Mother's dog Prince Charles. (Toy Poodle) It tears them both up that they cannot be together full time. I never realized that dogs can suffer from depression or have nervous breakdowns when they are away from their owner.

I know this to be true, Bear loves my husband so much.... as an aside, I LOVE his name LOL@Prince Charles.....he's actually better looking than the two footed version :P

Willow and Dina I have a little East African Sand Boa (sometimes called Kenyan Sand Boas) He's only about a foot long and that is has big as he will get his name is Hershey cos he is brown and cream-like milk and white chocolate. He eats thawed frozen fuzzies. My daughter had a Ball Python I loved but he was finicky and would only eat live food. I tried to train him but my daughter would give in to him although she did make a few meals of his into pets that he didn't eat. I just can't bear to feed live so I'm glad he is trained to eat the thawed.

72606=4058-sprintpics 368.jpg This spring he stopped eating and I was frantic' date=' he always has a fuzzie a week. I even took him to the vet and he had x-rays looking for a blockage. Then come to find out they will do that sometimes during mating season. He shed and drank water. Finally, later in the summer he ate and he has been eating since. The little stinker had me scared silly![/quote'] He's GORGEOUS!!!!

i have found the girls to be a great ice breaker at the doors if there is a dog or cat often say can

i pat. the people are often friendly and willing, sometimes they may take a tract too. what sort of dogs do you

recommend around kids. please :boating: Gabe

I love this thread! We are HUGE animal lovers...what a GIFT from Jehovah. We call our two dogs "furkids". Abby is a Jack-A-Bichon. We got her when she was a puppy from a local farmer. We're not sure what Penny is...some sort of a terrier mix. We adopted her from Hearts United for Animals (AWESOME place in Nebraska). If they have Penny's age correct the girls are about a year apart in age. They are COMPLETELY SPOILED ROTTEN and we wouldn't have it any other way. They are FAMILY. (tu)

Somehow we ended up with three dogs. Spencer was given to us, Sweat Pea I found on the street and we ended up keeping her to keep Spencer company, then they accidentally mated and we're still "stuck" with one, Crinkles. Crinkles. Here I decided to make him some clothes because he was cold. He's my little boy.

This is another gorgeous horse

87425=4924-2008 August five.jpg.gif Her name was Princess Buttercup. I sold her and her new owner changed it to Princess Angie. My granddaughter has Inigo Montoya and Wesley. I was trying to figure out what mark the filly had on her head.

Oh my goodness - where did all these cuties come from??? That cobra or grinch guy on that horsey's face is amazing! All the new doggies are so wonderful. Nola looks so sweet. And Lori Ann - where is that spoiled brat in the wagon going??? And that white thing with what appear to be curly ears is too cute for words! Oh and Sweet Pea (can you stand it? Whata darling name for a darling lady!) and Spencer - proud parents! But I want that CRINKLES in my arms right now!!!!

LIzzyJo, I was thinking maybe the mark looks like a quetzal or macaw, except for the beak???

Willow, I'm sure Crinkles would love to sit on your lap and fall asleep! Sweet Pea is called that because she is so sweet, and she likes to pee all over. I really like that flower, too. For awhile I was trying to think of some name that has to do with deer, because she looks like a deer, no tail, and runs like one. But her personality won out, she is just so sweet.
