MODIS on NASA’S Aqua Satelite captured this image of these fires burning.

This year Brazil has had the highest amount of forest fires since 2013. As of Sunday, there were already 71,497 fires burning in the country. The record was in 2016 with 66,622 fires.

I just read this on BBC, and it surprises me that Amazon rain forest provides 20% of our oxygen yet there's no cause for alarm. Wow!

Of course it’s not good, but it’s not to be taken out of proportions either.
Just found out. Many news outlets not covering it as much as it should.

It’s pretty much everywhere, though?

Indonesia is experiencing its worst annual fire season since 2015, with the cross-border spread of haze once again threatening to spark a diplomatic row with neighbors Malaysia and Singapore.

Three years after forest fires in Indonesia sent huge volumes of smoke billowing into Malaysia and Singapore, the Southeast Asian neighbors are dealing with a repeat of the “embarrassing” transboundary haze problem.

This year’s dry season is expected to be particularly harsh, after a relatively mild interlude since the 2015 fires and haze, due to an El Niño pattern. Indonesia has seen a surge in fires, with 42,740 hectares (105,600 acres) of land burned across the country — double the amount of land burned at this same point last year, and spanning an area two-thirds the size of Singapore

.Yes, we the neighbors are feeling the effects of the haze, a yearly phenomenon for some weeks now. And this, despite occasional rains.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

7. African Forests - Can’t find any info on any fires but satellite shows a lot of smoke - see picture

So it looks like there are more fires burning in Africa than the Amazon right now, but difference between the two is that in Africa they are mainly controlled fires to help manage lands to help clear out areas for new crops to grow, although all that smoke and CO2 is still not good. In the Amazon it is different, the fires are resulting in deforestation, a completely different kind of destruction. There’s a reason why the Amazon is of a particular concern to everyone than Africa, the Amazon is home to 10% of the world’s plants and animals and around 20% of our earth’s Oxygen. http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/experts-brace-for-an-apocalyptic-future-as-earths-forests-slowly-burn-to-the-ground

Check this link out and notice the difference in fire coverage between Africa and Amazon, its quite something.

As of today, there are now over 140,054 fires in Brazil. That’s double since i made the last report about it.

In the 90’s, Jehovah’s organization recognized what was going on in the Rain Forest. Just not today’s severity. An Awake.

Huge fires in Alaska, South America, Siberia, India, and I think I read about fires in Africa. This is so tragic. At so many different levels.

I want to age without sharp corners, and have an obedient heart!
