Brother Gajus (Gaius perhaps) Glockstein, seems new to jwb 

He gave talks at our CA and Regional... the chairmen kept calling him Glockenspiel...    He's good.

He was the GB helper at the Spanish Miami IC. We were able to see recordings of his talks at our RC. He prepared a brief introduction in Spanish to convey the greetings of the US Bethel family to the convention. He did a really job with it. After he finished the intro, he said “sadly that’s all the Spanish I know for today”. Very sincere and simple speaker. Love how he makes what he’s discussing simple and able to really reach the heart. He certainly did that in this month’s broadcasting. Love how we’ve been able to get to know the GB helpers in recent years.

Do you think the lady that was resurrected was the little disabled girls grandma?  At first I thought it may have been her aunty. Not sure. Nonetheless it was a beautiful song.

I think it's the Grandma, also the whole family had a Caleb and Sophia style.

Oh my, yes! I agree with all those above comments, and then some! I finally watched the broadcast along with my "study group," myself and two other brothers in our congregation, this afternoon. I think all three of us were on the verge of tears a few times, although I know we would never admit it to each other. Well, you know... You wouldn't want to see three grown men cry either.

 

 

The interview with Jay and Elaine Humer was very powerful from my point of view! How they faced their trials successfully, even though they admitted they almost gave up at some points, was very touching. Elaine's comments on Psalm 56:8 drew back to my mind similar thoughts from a Circuit Overseer several years ago. We usually don't keep a tissue full of tears as a souvenir, as though it was something important. But Jehovah does! Those tears are precious to him!

 

None of us had ever noticed those scratches on the shepherd's face after rescuing the lamb (mentioned at the 48:16 mark). But what a catch she made on picking out that detail in one of our publications! What a gem! We can find those gems too if we just take the time. They will make our hearts rejoice too knowing there is a way out of our trials.

 

And of course, the song was something that pulled at our heartstrings too...

 

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch the broadcast again. But please don't look...

Ah! That's what I forgot. I was trying to think of where that was, and I thought of the Return to Jehovah brochure. But that's not it.

 

Someone asked a similar question in this topic. The photo linked there seems to be closer, but I still don't see scratches on the shepherd's face.

Perhaps I stumbled on something in the music video. Or maybe it's my imagination. This screen shot is from the 56:17 mark of the broadcast.

 

 

It's better if you watch the video to see it, but it looks like the girl is mouthing the words "in our new world" as these words are being sung! (The screen shot is taken at the word "new".)

 

At least, that's what I see in the English video. I guess it can't be like that in all languages.

 

So, what do you think? Was it intentional?
