A random thread of absolute randomness...

If your ironed clothes ended up more wrinkled that would be, by definition, irony.

I knew there was a connection there somewhere. Thanx, Katty! So ... avoiding irony while ironing. Anyway, I, the great procrastinator, have ... put the whole project off until tomorrow. I will probably report back on how it goes.

Matthew 6:22 - The lamp of the body is the eye. If, then, your eye is clear*, your whole body will be full of light*.

I, the great procrastinator,

Pro-crastinator. What did you have to do to become a professional crastinator?

The opposite of procrastination is concrastination, which is immediately starting a task instead of delaying it.

So why is delaying a task considered to be a 'pro' while immediately starting a task is a 'con'?

I'd like to discuss the pros and cons of crastination but it can wait....

Drinking cognac in France, when asked amateur ou professionnel, the larger size is the amateur. Because the amateur actually likes cognac. I also like cognac, but I do not like ironing; hence a pro ...

... or did I just con you? I have to admit that the ironing was less of a disgusting chore than I anticipated.

To the bold: Now, isn't that ironic?

I have ironed, yet again. What will become of me? (Titus 2:5 'working at home') Yesterday I bought a cordless vacuum cleaner. Now I can hoover at random without any further ado.

Now you can hover your hoover however you want...

My wife thought she had a spider web in her hair and asked me to look. I told her that I couldn't tell...

Hero to zero again...😳

I ate a clock today.
It was really time consuming.
Especially when I went back for seconds.

I think I will pass time tomorrow wondering if it's the end of time or time of the end. I really need to watch what I eat.

*chuckles*

I have hoovered today ... using the old sledge-model. Next time I hoover the same room, I will hover my new, cordless one. And then, evaluate. This has a somewhat scientific feel to it.

So, the other day I was thinking about, if I ever meet the actor who played as Vizzini in The Princess Bride, I would have to think of a really creative way to get him to say
"Inconceivable". I think my favorite idea, as well as David's was:
So I get on my tablet and pretend I'm on a crossword puzzle, saying "Okay I'm struggling with this word. 13 letters. Means beyond all conceivability" Or better yet, the clue be "13 letters: 'You keep using that word, I don't think it means what you think it means'"

I read that Danny Devito was planned to play that part.

We both love Stargate and Love McKay in SG Atlantis. He starts of being an annoying knowitall smartypants in SG1, but Atlantis really gives him so much more depth.

Love the vid!

Yes, the same thing happened with Woolsey. He was so unlikable when he appeared in SG-1 but when he took over Atlantis the writers allowed you to eventually like him.

He's even got the protectors on his wrists and my receding hairline.

But you know, because I was listening to it in Spanish at the time (just practising recognising basic words), I didn't notice the meaning of the song - it's only now I'm recalling the English words back to mind and notice how it suits us, particularly today while we're submitting our visa application and praying about its outcome.
