HELP ME I'M STIR CRAZY!

Recommended Posts

I need more things we can do from home....
100 at home activities is my goal...
Maybe I can help others too!
Did you know that if you sign into jigsaw planet you can make an online puzzle based on your favourite pictures?

I've also been discovering free courses on edx and MIT Open CourseWare.

But I'm always looking for more ideas of things to do at home.

Know how you feel Sis..We’re going stir crazy on the other side of the pond too.

I don’t know how the weather is in the UK right now. Other than working on a part for tomorrow night, I enjoy working in the yard, taking cuttings, repotting etc.

It was rainy today. I was gonna do some shopping, but I changed my mind.
Since lockdown started, I've been trying to shop as little as possible, and only leave the house when I absolutely can't do without something hehe.

We understand you sis what we do to keep busy is we visit different virual bible tours, make groups to preach with, or listen to music or look at talents of JW on Sundays. Etc

Might try those. I'll see if David will want to do something like that with me
Hopefully they won't be the same kind of interface as Google Earth though. Google Earth always gets on our nerves, because it's so difficult to find the arrow to bring you to the section you want to go to.

I've also been on Duolingo.
I took Latin and French in school, and I've been learning Spanish for years, and decided, since I have time on my hands, I might just expand to the "Romance' languages in general (Spanish French, Portuguese, Italian, and, eventually, Romanian) and compare their vocabulary.
David and I have been learning about Algorithms too, so I can help him with the business after we get married and the second visa is out of the way.

Of course there's the spiritual activity of meeting for service, preparing for meetings, daily Bible reading, and the broadcasts...

Wheeldecide.com is actully fun. My friends and I like to add options on it over zoom and then take turns. ^_^ It can be asking a question about their likes, asking about how they learned the truth, demonstrate an outline they use in service, etc.

I live in a temporary reality- awaiting the day I wake up to life in the real world!

Yesterday I made my first hydrosol. It is an easy method of using what you have at home to distill herbs and flowers. The water from this process can be used in a variety of ways, and it’s a thrill to have a useful fragrant water in a couple of hours. There are lots of YouTube videos showing how to do it without a still. Anyway, this kept me engaged and entertained for awhile....

It’s possible to take pretty good astronomy pictures using a smartphone just out of a window. (When the sky is actually clear!)

On iPhone, Nightcap app is pretty good for ‘long’ exposures, time-lapse or star trails.

Small tripods with bendy legs are available quite cheaply; as are astronomy apps.

Orion is a good winter target.

Or you could try time-lapse photography of a house plant on a sunny window sill.

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13

Neat ideas
