5&6 was writing to imprisoned brothers.

7 was for suspension of literature shipments. Looks like most countries didn't have point no 7.

Which branch territory do you fall under?

I would assume Australasian branch. Maybe

I didn't hear number 7 either.

The special morning worship has been a feature for the last two years.  The video is normally uploaded a few days before the memorial.  Its a very enjoyable way of starting the special day.

As for literature.  We have had suspensions and delays throughout the last year.  Our last delivery was in December, and our next sometime in March.

I thought there was a recent daily text about inquiries like this.

Like Monday, March 8th.

In the USA the S-147 had 7 points but point #7 was a reminder for males to register for the national Selective Service (Draft) board as required by law for those 18-26 years of age.

It is banned, sis.

I don’t believe it is. They talk about the country under “Imprisoned for their faith” and even have names/photos of brothers. That is not the case for countries under ban, which are under a general “other lands” list with no names or info.

Edit: I stand corrected. Apologies for the misinformation. Interesting that they still post information about them on the site but don’t do so for other countries.

I prefer not to go into details, but I have travelled there. I love Singapore, and the brothers there are very faithful.

I understand! It seems there are different guidelines for each country with restrictions as far as how much information can be posted online about brothers or what’s happening there. Some countries aren’t even mentioned at all, including one I used to live in, while others are mentioned and details are given. It was just confusing to me for a minute, but I get it now :D

If the country isn’t specifically listed in our year end report, it’s safe to assume it’s under restriction.

I was told that Brother Johnson was instrumental in purchasing the first Assembly Hall and it was located in Queens New York. Thanks for the info about the Stanley but that isn't the one he helped with.

Our Assembly Hall overseer use to be the Overseer at the Queen's Assembly Hall. I just found out that he has invited brother Johnson to our next AH Volunteers meeting to give a spiritual talk and interview.

A quiet afternoon- watched this at lunch today.  It was okay.. only a few eye crossings.. 🤪  Claudius was cool!

The rest- not relatable but I'm happy the marrieds have this info :)

I was thinking of the other subjects covered.  How do those feel about the parental counsel or the part about children serving Jehovah and they tragically lost their only child?  Should the GB stop talking to parents who have children?  what about the counsel and success of those who are shown or discussed that have children who grew up to serve Jehovah but the viewers  have jus disfellowshipped children?  shld we stop sharing good examples to spare the feelings of others?

There are so many possible circumstances, singleness, widowhood, poverty, unemployment, long-term disease, infidelity in marriage, war, persecution, abused family members of all ages and so on.  Some viewers will find uncomfortable topics but maybe something else in the program will be comforting.

In every case I think of all the work, research, production and effort put into the message that will help someone viewing.  Regardless of my circumstance, it was a blessing to my brother or sister.

Every day I remind myself...this is Satan's world, he caused the problems, God has assigned Jesus to fix them and I try hard to remember...it is not about me...💗

You quoted me from a year ago, but in response I will say, "No". I've never expected the GB to stop talking to anyone about anything. Of course, all their counsel is wonderful.

Just hoped for a bit of *equal* time to single life issues that's not shiny 20-somethings with the tough choices of a lovely mate or special full-time service.. with awesome parental/ congregational support in either case.

You're right, it's not just about me. It's about a lot of friends on their own for a really long time. That's all.. 😔
