I finally found the time to watch update #1 several times today. I hope I got everything right:

First of all, the pandemic is not over, so we need to keep being careful.

Then four very specific points of advice:

- Do not isolate

- Be careful with our use of alcohol

- Be careful with our use of social networks

- Beware of media which has an agenda, rather trust the Slave.

It is sad to hear of more Covid deaths among the brotherhood.

I found it interesting when Br. Cook admonished all of us to "leave our cameras on" during our Zoom meetings.  Let's see how that instruction is followed in the days to come...💗

I had Treasure's part Jehovah is Considerate and tied in Brother's Cook encouragement to log on early, stay on late, go into breakrooms....turn on your camera....(ignore spoiler....lol)

We watched the Update #1 again during the midweek meeting (as per GN instructions).  We are in the middle of major winter storm with lots of rain, turning to ice and now snow.  We have high winds and the power in our town kept flickering on and off during the meeting.  But the Zoom video for Br. Cook's presentation stayed on (it flickered a little).

I was looking forward to seeing the update again and I was praying that we kept power for that last hour.

"The pandemic is not over" is what he said.
