Wow..dear sister, that is the point: That is what we are after—with all our worries about the future, with all our interest in when "peace and security" will finally come as a dazzling promise from the politicians of this earth, and after that: our liberation from this corrupt, sick, and evil system. Let us follow our Shepherd and King. Nothing should interest us more than what our Shepherd has to say to us, no matter what wars appear in the news.

Recently, a circuit overseer said to be cautious in what the (anxiogens) media tells because it is not certain that everything they say is true or will come true.

Of course, as Christians we follow events closely, but then we leave everything in Jehovah's hands, being active in what he wants us to do and that is to help people get to know him and trying to start new Bible Studies, trusting that EVERYTHING HE promises will come true without fail.

Why? Because he cannot lie. What guarantee do we have? Does the sacrifice of his one and only precious son seem little to you? Even though I do not have children, I think of him all the time, and I believe that at present we do not even realize this grand gesture because of our imperfection.

From my experience, I have come to the conclusion that even when I don't know where to go (i.e. what direction to go, what to decide...), I put EVERYTHING in his hands and trust him and let him do it.

When I no longer have the strength? I shout 'help!" and he helps me.

So let us cling to this Almighty God, our God, Jehovah!

This seems timely. A lot of "peace deals," falling like dominos claimed by Trump.

 

While at the same time the front page of JW.org is dedicated to war, misinformation, and shocking news.

To be pedantic, while Ukraine & Russia share the same ancestry, the Ukraine's early history was distinct, only coming into the orbit of the Russian empire/USSR this past 200 years

Ceasefires aren't peace. Our campaign in September will be very timely.

I don't trust none of the secular news stations. I just watch all of them and try to filter out what is actually truth. What is noise.

I know it's not peace. But it's supposed to be a facade right? Trump is running around claiming he brokered peace with multiple groups and countries even as they say it was already in the works or deny it. The news is also believing him and Twitter news profiles have even paralleled him in a billboard that mirrors Davinci's Last Supper.

 

The news articles reminded me of the one scripture they use as comparisons in Jeremiah I think it was? The "there is peace," one.

History of that region is complicated. Ukraine was part of Tusdia/USSR for the last 200 years before 1991. Before that it was part of Poland. Both countries abused inhabitants of present day Ukraine .

All I can deduce is that as of recent times Ukraine was all part of the soviet union during the next phase of the KOTN after germany. During the break up of the soviet union in 1991 it was promised to Russia that Ukraine will not be part of NATO. But as there is a pushing between the KOTS and KOTN that all changed and as result of this we have the war in Ukraine, enough said, both sides are the aggressor just Bible prophecy that is being fulfilled, the main part is not taking sides when one side imprisoning our friends and on the other side has the appearance of a lamb but the mouth of a dragon aka the anglo American world power.
