I had measles, chicken pox, mumps twice and no childhood innoculations. Our elem school lined us up for booster shots which I took but don't know if they made a diff if there was nothing there to boost. Got all current vaccines this past fall and my household is getting over the flu (didn't catch it.) Might ask  about other vaccines next fall. Read that arthritis can be a side effect of some of those childhood diseases and I did have juvenile Rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed at a very early age. Had corona flu once. My late husband had covid when he passed away, but not the cause. I don't have any grandchildren to be concerned about but do not want to be in the mix with so many illnesses having a resurgence.

The elementary schools I have been associated with all required vaccinations before you could start school.  My youngest son had ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) and could not take the vaccines until he finished chemotherapy.  I had always heard that when you have Measles, Chicken Pox, or Mumps one time you were immune from then on, but I have heard of some occasions when people had one of those diseases a second time.  If you had Chicken Pox, you are at risk of getting Shingles.  I knew one woman who had Shingles and she said it was incredibly painful.

Sorry to hear about your husband.  I have 3 grandsons but do not get involved in raising them.  I am sure that they had their normal vaccines.  With my health problems I can't get too involved in anything.  My wife and I mostly care for each other.  The youngest son who had Leukemia may or may not have had the COVID vaccine.  The problem was that with his compromised immune system, COVID would have been deadly, but the COVID vaccine could also have been deadly.

Russia blocks WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, says newspaper

Apps were taken down from a government-controlled directory, according to the Financial Times. WhatsApp accuses the Russian government of directing users to a state surveillance app.

In my opinion, these measures end up directly affecting our dear brothers and sisters.

Very possibly, yes.   On the other hand, given the nature of the government, with covert operations everywhere, I think the brothers would be extremely careful about messaging apps.

This actually brings back memories of how brothers evaded the authorities during WWII.  Letters tor telegraphs that would say "Mother sends her love", or "We had a wedding reception at a nice hotel. They had a pool".   IYKYK    😉
