Lol this is one of those stupid things we are going to tell our kids in the new world....

"Yes, the adult scientists had a giant clock that they manually adjusted to tell us when the world was going to end."

The scientists are giving the world a visual display of their opinion of world conditions hoping to get someone's attention. Other people have different ways to show their opinion. We have a website, carts and go door to door. Our way is better. :D

And if you want the exact opposite bias - try Fox News.

There is bias in all these outlets....However, I’ve have purposely  compared the stories and have seen first hand the deception and spinning that happens Dailey. If CNN is all you watch you wouldn’t see it. Fox is the highest rated...becasue most people can see the  extreme bias on most of these other media outlets.

CNN has all these LGBQ+ nonsense that the world has been buying into. They promote it along with all the other distortions.

Like that story about Federal Freezing from CNN....First thing they do is imply people on food stamps and SS checks etc.....will be thrown under the bus.. Lie.

First.... the full story is that  it’s Only a temporary pause on certain programs known  for wasteful spending and believe me it’s insane. By doing this...so far they stopped 50 million dollars from going to Gaza. Why?  For condoms.

This is rampant and just on example of many....adding up to literally hundreds of billions of dollars in waste.  So that should be a good thing, right?  Not if you hate the President.

Just like people see the extreme bias on Fox News.

Thanks for helping us see the bias is all around.

Has anyone checked out the news outlets that purported to be neutral and balanced? I know 1440, but they don't have an app. Any others?

Even NPR isn't as neutral as they let on.

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Well, they aren't that accurate are they? It should be 144,000.

I was wondering if that was just your personal opinion, so I did a quick search and found this:

All specialized bias raters agree that CNN is either lean-left or left-biased as most content favors a liberal perspective. Three out of four rate CNN as credible and reliable in reporting; however, Media Bias Fact Check argues that CNN’s on-air personalities have failed numerous fact checks resulting in a mixed factual and medium credibility rating. On the whole, the consensus is that CNN is left-biased and of medium credibility.

It's amazing to me there are agencies that rate news agencies.

I tend to go to AP and Reuters for my news most of the time. They are best for simply reporting what's happening without commentary.

I do check BBC, NPR, and New York Times, however.

Al Jazeera is decent…except for anything to do with Israel and the Palestinians…’nuff said there.

I also watch Firstpost and WION, both based out of India.

ABC (Australia) & DW (Germany) ain’t bad either.

Leviticus 19:18: “‘You must not take vengeance nor hold a grudge against the sons of your people, and you must love your fellow man as yourself.”

Just to clarify -  We aren't sharing an opinion, are we?  2 Tim 3:16,17

Those who read the newspaper know what's going on

Those who read the Bible know why

Getting back to the news...

Looks like there's something major happening in Congo/Rwanda. Not looking good at all in Africa. There's like 10-15 countries alone with unrest right now. Hopefully our brothers are safe.

2025 is the last year for my prophecy of 10 years or less to come true. 😜

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

You should just say this year (or next year). Always the same answer.

The media

Sigh, the all powerful mass media trying to control the hearts and minds of people. I also fall prey to their insidious tactics to hold us captive to their endless propaganda.

https://reporter.rit.edu/news/sensationalism-media

Spoiler

One of the biggest uses of sensationalism is headlines. When you are looking at a magazine or website and see those big bolded words, they attract your attention. News and media outlets know that headlines attract readers, so they use this to their advantage. Often times headlines feature an over-exaggerated display of events. With the right wording, the most mundane thing can be blown out of proportion.

Fear-mongering is the act of intentionally playing with the fears of others to arouse fear or anger — another sensationalist tactic. Media outlets will prey on the fears of others in order for them to notice their content.

“Once you get someone's attention, then you know you can weave your way through a very convoluted and probably implausible argument and make it appear more reasonable,”

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

I like that description since it includes mainstream, alterative media, YouTube and social media ... they all use the same tactics
