Tremendous loneliness.

How do I cope? I don't. I bear it because there's no solution in sight.

My Dear Sister, that broke my heart ,I am so incredibly sorry that you're battling loneliness .

No one should be lonely in a world with so many , but we are and it's a battle ,but you are not alone ever Jehovah God and His Son are watching and they feel your pain & understand you and love you.

Remember God is your refuge a place of safety, He will shelter you with His wings

There's some beautiful Psalms to read

91:1-4

And Isaiah 40:31

But those hoping in Jehovah will regain power.  They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary; They will walk and not tire out.”

Thank you very much, dear sister, for your kind words. Yes, I know Jehovah will eventually rescue me from that pain. I know he has the perfect schedule for everything, so I try my best to wait.

Health Problems.  I have had high blood pressure for probably 20 years.  I have had an atrial fibrillation for the past 30 years.  The odds of me having a stroke get higher each year.  My legs are in bad shape.  Actually, my leg problems are caused by pinched nerves in my back, partly due to bone growth on my spine.  I have a pacemaker.  Recently, it had to be replaced because of the battery limited life.  Some people acted as if they thought a pacemaker replacement was a major surgery, but it was more like a pin prick compared to other problems I have.

I have other health problems that members of my congregation do not even know about.  I won't mention those here.  One elder agreed that it was probably something I should not tell everyone about.  Only a few of the elders know about those problems.

Immoral thoughts...

Coping....> By diverting to good thoughts and good activities

That’s hard but remember Php 4:8,9. Are you married? What types of good activities?

Yes I am married sis.

The problem is my wife works. And in my congregation brothers don't keep a strong spiritual relation with me. But lot of sisters do.

I do a lot of Bible research but to share with brothers is not possible as they are not interested.

Also my business keeps me very busy.

But still my brain will wander particularly during night.

So I try to just avoid unwanted thinking.  But it's a big big challenge.

Have you tried getting out in the ministry more?

I've tried everything. I've been praying, participating in the ministry, spending time with different friends of the congregation, etc. Nothing helps. I do have a lot of good friends I really appreciate. This is a different kind of loneliness.

Zoom is a great option for me. I have very poor balance and weakness and pain in my lower legs and feet caused by arthritis and pinched nerves in my spine.  I used to enjoy sitting in a recliner sometimes.  Recently, every time I sit in the recliner even for a few minutes, when I get up, I have no balance whatever.  Normally when I sit in a chair it takes me a few seconds to get my balance, but if I sit in a recliner it takes me far longer to get my balance.  The last time I did a Bible reading at the Kingdom Hall I had to have help to get up to the podium and back to my seat.

Worrying about my 4 adult children and the various challenges they are going through.  Knowing when to help or not help. Am I enabling? I am a widow of almost 6 years. My husband died suddenly in 2019. I am the only witness in my family.  I pray that Jehovah draws my children and I try to witness without saying a word. Jehovah is the righteous judge and he reads hearts.

How long can the list be????

worry about Congregation….friends….young ones i have befriended…. family….  inactive family members

self —- depression — PTSD——ADHD——health

there is a plethora of things we deal with….and so do our friends in the hall

maybe a better avenue is……HOW do you deal with the problems you face…..??

’It  is always comforting to see others have same or worse issue they are facing…

‘’but it helps me so much MORE to hear what they are doing to deal with and minimize the issues and dramas and traumas that we encounter
