A friend from Bethel said that from now on it will simply be called "International Convention," regardless of the number of people.

Don't worry too much about it.  I lived through the gatherings being called Assemblies, District Assemblies. District Conventions, International Assemblies and so on.

As you get older you think "are we a society, or an organisation? do we go to district assemblies or what are they called now? Is he a congregation servant, a presiding overseer, or someone else?

We were delegates in 2019 and have applied unsuccessfully for last 2 Special Conventions.  So looking forward to where we can apply for next year.  It will be our 40th wedding anniversary in May and we were hoping to do an overseas trip so would be fabulous to combine the 2.
