    A voting lady approached a sister and I today, and I was able to share with her the benefits of Jehovah's government vs. man's govt. It was wonderful! She listened and appeared interested. I told her that we're not against government, it's just that God’s government is better. Then gave her an example about how mans government is fighting over health care, yet God’s government insures there will be no need for health care because no one will be sick (quoted Isa. 33:24) when the earth will be a paradise. The lady said "Thank you", and went her way. You never know. 

    The thing is I've always wanted to talk to these government people (I really don't know what she wanted. She just walked up to us (with a companion) and asked if we're Democrats.

      Today, so far no prayer people. But, I did meet a very nice young man who accepted the kingdom tract. And he actually sat there and read it! I tried to talk to him but could hardly because there was a language barrier: Spanish. 

      So I took him to our website, showed him how to navigate to the languages, he smiled and, hopefully because of the barrier, he got it. Then he got up to continue his work (he was resting on a bench in between cleaning the sidewalks).

      This planting seeds business is really good. 

      Someone else will water the seeds...yet Jehovah will "make it grow."

How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
    A knock on the door. Seriously, I was very involved in the church but left because of the immorality, though I too was a part of it. Then I began having domestic problems, but felt it was God punishing me for leaving the church. So amidst all the turmoil prayed for God to help me and to forgive me for leaving the church. Then, I couldn't understand it then, but I felt a calmness, got into bed and the next morning two sisters knocked at my door! This is why when I hear of experiences of someone praying and a sister or brother knocks at their door, I can really relate.

    Music, dancing, research, reading, thinking, writing...not necessarily in that order. Lol.
  • My favorite books
    Bible of course and our literature. Secularly: drama, classics, architecture, museums, book stores, libraries.
  • My favorite music
    Kingdom melodies of course. Secularly: jazz, old school, latin, blues.
  • My favorite movies
    Honeymooners, I love Lucy, Court dramas, Investigation such as FBI Files, etc.
  • My favorite quotes
    "What goes around comes around." However, I like how Jehovah says it: "...For whatever a man is sowing; this he will also reap..."

    Think outside the box. Jehovah says that better too at Eph. 4:22-24.
