I had to conduct the prison Bible study last night. I was so nervous, but prepared well. Fortunately the women participated well (sometimes they don’t). I felt that Jehovah definitely helped me. It went well.

Wow, wow, wow, we lost another one, who is no longer a JW. Hopefully they will return to Jehovah and us.

Wow, the CO and his wife will stay at our place during the next COV, what a privilege! I can't wait. Thank you Jehovah.

Our Sunday meeting is cancelled due to really bad snowing and blowing conditions.
 
But, at least we still have power...for now.

We have been bombed by heavy wet snow and high winds for the past 24 hours.  
 
Weightof all that wet snow and force of all that high wind snapped power poles in half, brought trees, limbs and power lines down all the way to Wisconsin.  
 
No power means no heat and no water.  
 
Beinga farm, we have a tractor and a PTO powered alternator to run our geo-thermal furnace.  But others are freezing.
 
The area's power came on for a tiny bit last evening but was out all night and is still out.  
 
The county is using the Community Building here in Trenary as a warming shelter.  First time in our county's history that it's citizens required a warming shelter.
 
EMS is responding to calls where people are freezing cold.  Bringing them all the way to Trenary to get warm.  They will have to figure out a way to feed them all, too.
 
Trenary's Community Building must not get their Power from Alger/Delta like most do around these parts. 
 
When we respond to fire calls, we have to figure out which of the three electric companies to call to come shut off the power.

Neighbors car just crushed into my fence and gate ..fair bit of damage ..and I thought I had full plate prior to this ..LOL

The “Hearer of prayer” lovingly listens to our appeals for help. (Ps. 65:2) However, we should also endeavor to focus on other forms of prayer. These include those of praise, thanksgiving, and supplication.
Jesus offered supplications and petitions and maintained his faithfulness to God to the very end of his earthly life.
Hebrews 5:7 - During his life on earth,* Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears,+ to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear.
i enjoyed this reminder about prayer in our study this week.
