My pencil is not up there, the fifth type. When packages of pencils are old, I know the erasers will not work correctly. So I cut the erasers off to use as earring backs and sharpen the eraser-less pencils. When I started first grade (no kinder for me) I used a pencil without an eraser. Seems like old times.

Ever heard of a mobius strip. You obviously have access to higher spatial dimensions.

A was also thinking of a Mobius band when I saw these optical representations. Except, the Mobius strip is 3D

Yes. But it shows how a 2 dimensional piece of paper can curve through a third dimension. It is a good way to illustrate extra dimensions.

It also shows how one can draw a single line on both sides of a paper without lifting the pencil or marker, or go over an edge and end up at the beginning. The line will be twice as long as the strip.That Mobius was one twisted mathematician. (redundancy?)

I think of a mobius strip  as having a one surface and only one edge and it cannot be measured using 2 dimensions.

It has no width, cannot be measured from one edge to the other as there is only one edge. Has no depth because it only has a single surface.
