Post a picture... Any picture

Recommended Posts

My pioneer niece a pioneer in Redmond, WA,  Lexie (Glenn knows her.) wears them, in service and at meetings.

Pm me her name, I'll ask Glenn tomorrow at meeting. I would LOVE to wear these. They're beautiful. There's so many colors and combinations.

Oh DER! Lexie! (blonde moment, oh yes it is too blonde!)

I would love that! I'm looking at patterns and fabrics. There's so much variety. Probably not use it in a meeting but will love to wear it in personal outing.

TY Dilip. This sums up how I feel. My children knew from an early age, you get what you give out and respect is not a right, its for those who've worked hard to earn it. They are responsible adults today.

Yep, they're all outside right now. We got some organic sunflower seeds for the birds and chipmunk and squirrel......Uhhh, here's what happened: AND this is only a fraction of what we had. I've been pulling them out because I'm getting the garden ready for final harvest and then straw. I have NEVER been able to grow sunflowers, never! This year I didn't even try and look!

Pic's are a bit small but all the greenery in the background, some weeds on the patio, and all the blooms and unbloomed are everywhere.

I've never seen an artichoke bloom so since this was the first year for them I'm letting them do their thing and gain strength for next year, then I'm hoping to get about 20 artichokes!!

Anybody ever seen one of these holy clouds? ^_^

post-5984-0-82006500-1447205780_thumb.jp

Photographer David Barton snapped this extremely unusual weather event above the skies of Victoria, Australia. Apparently the unusual event is called a Fallstreak Hole (or commonly a ‘hole punch cloud’):

Such holes are formed when the water temperature in the clouds is below freezing but the water has not frozen yet due to the lack of ice nucleation (see supercooled water). When ice crystals
do
form it will set off a domino effect, due to the Bergeron process, causing the water droplets around the crystals to evaporate: this leaves a large, often circular, hole in the cloud.

Fallstreak Holes are one of the most common cloud-related events reported as UFOs.

One guy I used to work for grew sunflowers.

He had some that were every bit of eight feet tall with stalks as big around as my arms and flowers the size of a very large pizza

I took a picture like that once. There was a company a few miles from us that had several large fields of sunflowers, we drove there for a day trip once.

They have been such a joy. Because of never being able to grow them then all of a sudden POOF they're everywhere I can say I was awed.

I'd like to grow some huge ones too, but for now I'm ok with what I've been given.

I'm happy some of you liked them as much as I do.

VanGogh liked them too.

I heard that VanGogh decided to be an artist because he didn't have an ear for music.... :uhhuh:
