1970–1975. Mudcrutch was formed in 1970 by teenage Gainesville, Florida residents Tom Petty and Tom Leadon, who had been playing together in a group called the Epics.

 

BTW - Tom Leadon is the brother of Bernie Leadon ... one of the founding members and former banjoist and guitarist of the Eagles. Their father was a Professor at the University and a regular customer of mine when I worked at a pizza place.

At The Desert Diamond Assembly in Glendale, We were introduced to Jorge Paez. His wife and daughter were getting baptized. As we were trying to make it down to the roped off area, a bunch of younger brothers surrounded us and started taking pictures and saying “El Maromero”.

 

Jorge was an actor, and circus performer in Mexico and later Pro lightweight boxer, known for doing acrobatic stunts in the ring, now retired and baptized in Vegas.

I know the twins of " Tokio Hotel ". Their uncle and my aunt were together at that time and so I was in contact with them more often. I don't know if Tokio Hotel were also very successful outside Germany.

Looks like the last picture is at Spanish banks? Or Jericho beach. There are beautiful hiking trails around Cypress area in North Van. In the summer, West Van is a great area for incredible hiking trails. Might be a little snowy now, though.
