I've heard of snow, too. I have even seen it - mind you, I'm not talking about the "heavy frost" people here in Florida tend to call snow ... I'm talking about the real thing. Of course, it's been about 60+ years since I have seen it - I was living in Illinois at the time.

We also have a weather advisory out for 1 pm today till 1am tomorrow,  so far at 1:15 it's calm and not much rain. Now last Saturday they said nothing when it blew so hard my truck door slammed shut 3 times on me when I tried to get out, then it blew so hard it jerked my hair out of my bun!! Hmm, I'm tending not to think it may get bad again.

Ok. I was wrong, an hour later and the wind is screaming, a tree fell somewhere near me and the lights are out on over half the peninsula. Great.

O all of us that are on zoom logged in tonight and can’t get in. Myself and another sister tried the phone tie in and that isn’t working either. I think something got disconnected. 

 

Also it’s snowing/sleeting out there now. The wind gusts are 36 mph. 😬🥺🙄

In 2 weeks we will be in southern California and will be able to see snow up on Idlewild Mountain. Can't visit there though - you have to have chains above 5000'

We don't know if the TV show received permission to use the images - best not to jump to any conclusions on this matter and just be happy that they recognize our accurate knowledge of Bible history.

We zoomed for the ministry this morning because we had freezing rain last night.

 

Anyway, our congregation overseer joined us a bit later and told us why we had no internet/phone tie in for the Tuesday meeting.

 

He checked the east side of the Hall where the A/C unit, etc is. There was a 5’ 6” drift up against the Hall, all the way up past the meters. Cement like snow. The pic here shows the meter after some shoveling was done.

 

Anyway, it was found that the fiber optic stuff had snapped. The phone company when installed originally had stapled it to the building. They decided it wasn’t a good idea now. 😬

 

So we are set for Sunday

 

O he told the brothers online that from now on after a storm to check the area.

I saw a live rainbow catfish over 40 years ago at a place in Cambridge, ON ( Galt ) that was selling it with a 100 gallon tank.

Fish was only found at bottom of waterfalls, I believe in Brazil. 🐠

The first pic is of the tree in front of my house. The second is my neighbor’s. The snow is light and fluffy, believe it or not.

 

i shoveled the back path and cleared the driveway last night. About 10 inches I think. Thus morning nearly 2 inches. Just cleared the path. 
 

i guess more is supposed to be on the way. 😬🥺🙄😥

 

I refuse to get my back adjusted right now cause it would be a waste of 💰💰💰💰. I’d be feeling it after shoveling again anyway. 😬😬😬
