Oh, I thought Kindles were all from Amazon since it seems Amazon maintains the Kindle app market. But, I don't know much about them.

EDIT: I see what you're saying, the "app" is not on Amazon! Sorry, I misunderstood!

If I remember the AM correctly, they said it would "eventually" be on the Amazon app store, or something to that effect.

Also of note, JW Library is currently the #1 free iPad app and the #4 free iPhone app according to iTunes.

I have the iOS7 iphone and when I look up Galatians 5 verse 22 for example, there is no place to tap for verse 22. To get to verse 22 I have to scroll all the way down to verse 22. Is that supposed to be that way.

Yes it's supposed to be that way... excepting large chapters like ps 119, I think it's faster that way than having to click an additional button

I like how the transparent blue dot stays on the reference within the scripture as you look up the reference .. And then come back to the blue dot where you left off ....... That way you never loose your spot..

All the reference lookups are super fast .. Wonderful

The feature to switch to all the other parallel translations .. Best ever of all programs.. Very intuititive

Now if we could put our own notes in the margins .. That would make it a real study bible...

I can dream can't I .... Lol :)

If you look towards the end of the page under the heading 'Coming Soon' it mentions that ability to make notes and to highlight will be coming soon.  It will be even more awesome.

Yes, the links are for chapters and NOT verses. If you really want a long scroll - try Psalms 119.

That's just the best. I can hardly wait. Is there a way to remember where you left off? I can't see it if there is.

There are no bookmarks yet but if you leave the app pressing the home button (and not back) you do whatever you want to do and when you go to the app again (clicking on its icon or going through the recent app's, you'll be in the same place you were on

It's 100MB + so if you have limited data plans, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi connection.so you don't exceed with your data plan.

I have AT&T provider. I called them to get an answer to your statement. They assured me that downloading a 100MB app would not go against my 50MB data plan. I went ahead and downloaded using the google link on jw.org. It downloaded fine and opened fine. If I was fed wrong information from the AT&T store I deal with I am not going to be a happy camper. They did recommend using a WiFi connection however but I did not do so.

Also if I tap the little clock in the upper right hand corner of my phone screen the recent history appears showing books read!

Anyone having issues with the app on their Windows 8 Laptop?! When I downloaded from the Windows store, it comes up a bunch of horiziontal streaks

The app will not install on my win 8 pro 64 bit desktop ( actually a tower ). Since I get win 8.1 free :D in a few days, I'm going to do a clean install and try again ( I will use the migration wizard on windows 8 dvd for my programs, the best yet ).  Maybe by then some other features such as bookmarking, etc will be working
