Klamath River

 

The Klamath River flows 263 miles through Oregon and northern California in the United States, emptying into the Pacific Ocean. By average discharge, the Klamath is the second largest river in California after the Sacramento River.

Land of Enchantment

 

A state in southwestern United States on the Mexican border.

The "Land of Enchantment" describes New Mexico's scenic beauty and its rich history. This legend was placed on New Mexico license plates in 1941. This nickname became the official State Nickname of New Mexico on April 8, 1999.

New Mexico designated "Land of Enchantment" by Michael Martin Murphey (a resident of Taos, New Mexico) as the official state ballad in 1989.

Newbury, Berkshire, England

 

Newbury is a historic market town and the principal town in the west of Berkshire, England.

 

Newbury is home to one of England's major racecourses Newbury Racecourse, which celebrated its centenary in 2005. The most prestigious race in the calendar is the Hennessy Gold Cup which normally takes place in late November. It has been mentioned extensively in the novels of Dick Francis.
