The Mysterious Coronavirus Spreading Worldwide

they'll be holding meetings that's what they are built to do - via things called computers. Don't you worry about things young lady - Jehovah puts it into their hearts - even if they are on their deathbeds if Jehovah wants to do it - nothing can stop him.

We can either sing: Give me Courage - or Send in the Clowns - I know which one I'm singing.

Sounds a bit rough sorry but what I'm trying to say is this world is so far removed from Jehovah it's almost like a circus act.

I heard you singing the other day....send in the clowns, so thats what you meant 😁🤣

This cant be just some small blip in our ministry  meetings etc

What I heard on bbc news just now as to why the government has drastically changed what they need us to do was to do with new scientific modeling that came to their attention. Really not good. No wonder those in the world are scared.

The details dont matter but it proves again and again that human rule just does not work.

We need Jehovahs Kingdom so much.

Brings to mind the scripture ‘faint out of fear not knowing a way out’.....I wonder what this will lead to??? The  economy is in catastrophe, any money they have thrown at this virus has already disappeared.

Does anyone get the niggling feeling that we will perhaps not be meeting again at our halls, that the smaller numbers in which people can meet is getting smaller, meaning no witnessing, meetings, Memorial. Jehovah is prepping us now for groups we will meet in when the GT starts - that this is not a practice run but a gradual step by step approach to the outbreak of the GT. Shutting down of everything in this system which is literally bringing the world to a standstill. It's like Satan's system commercially is already starting to crumble.

Yep, I'm with you on that.  Just got to wait and see.  But, been having that feeling for awhile.

Here's the guidelines President Trump of the United States is talking about.  Some of it is recommendations for now such as avoiding gatherings over 10 people and schooling children at home for now.

I was very sick the end of January. Was sent home from work with a prescription in hand for Augmentin. Cough syrup, decongestant, shortness of breath, was to alternate Tylenol with ASA. Fever of 102.4. Slept between periods of coughing till exhausted.  Went back to work after 7 days because I had no PTO.  Worked a day and a half and sent home with Cipro.  Off another 5 days then back to work. This time Augmentin repeated and a HHN machine at bedside and rescue inhaler. I had a doctor that heard my coughing at work and was kind enough to see me in a vacant room at work (skilled nursing facility/LTC) and said I probably had pneumonia.  Thing is it has been 5 weeks and that cough is still present. My husband thinks I had it and it just was not properly dx since it was not at the forefront at that time.  I had pneumonia a few years ago but not that intense.

My son and his wife and 5 yr old live in Xiam China and he can work from home and go out occ for groceries. The girls have not been out of their apartment for 7 weeks now.

I "probably had pneumonia" late Dec.  Doc said she didn't know what it was but not flu.  I thought I was going to die.  Delirious. Fever. Chills. Sweats. Cough. Sore throat. Aches.  I didn't eat for days.  I slept.  It was horrible.  After I recovered, I still had breathing problems into mid February. It felt like there was a piece of plastic bag in my lungs that was flapping around w every breath I took.  Couldnt breathe deep enough.  Never been so sick.  I wonder...

Let's hope it works for real. No long term wait for that.

The problem as Health Experts are saying - it's not the development of a vaccine - that may only take months - it's the testing of it that will take furthers months - 1 year. If they throw out the vaccine soon we know there's been no adequate testing. The brothers here after reading out the letter from the platform encouraged us to do our own research and in things like this - we really need to be on our toes - so wise and informed decisions are made on things pertaining to individual choice.

Yup. Both US and Canada testing vaccines today Monday March 16th. be months before they know if it works. yes they cut out the animal testing, except for the human guinea pigs.

I really appreciate how adaptable Jehovah's organization is. Even if the world conditions create a 'new normal', Jehovah's organization will create it's own new normal and we will wonder why we didn't do it sooner. :lol1:

I’m thinking about Heb.10:24,25.  There’s no stopping Jehovah’s people from meeting together, Jehovah will see to that. He would not require us to do something that we can’t do. Our meetings might change a little but we’re going to have them because we need them. So personally it doesn’t matter to me where they are or what size they are I want to be there, as long as I don’t infect others because of the virus. I’m looking forward to whatever new arrangements needs to be made. And who knows, maybe we’ll enjoy them just as much or more because we’ll have opportunity to participate more.

Did you say ‘all’ the talking heads? They can’t seem to agree on too much of anything anymore. If fact they change what they’re saying so often its almost impossible to keep up with.  But if two weeks is true I’ll surely take that over what we have now. Although I am kind of looking forward to the excitement of smaller groups and having a trial run for the GT.

And what I’ve been wondering about is what are all the people who are being forced to stay home from their jobs... how are they even going to pay just their utility bills, and their rent, and put food on the table for their kids and, etc, etc, etc,   That’s gotta be a major concern for so many.  Talk about uncertainty.

All those “ Prepers” with 3-6 months of food are looking so stupid now!

The above article talks about the discrimination Asians and people of Asian descent are facing because of the coronavirus.

My two beautiful beautiful little granddaughters are now being taunted at school.  Some kids calling the "Hey Carona' my husband said 'let me at them'.  I told them to try and ignore their poor, uneducated upbringing. They were jealous of them being able to speak Chinese, English and Spanish.  Plus play the violin and make straight A's.

Does anyone else believe that we are living this scripture right now? Like I totally may be wrong, but this Coronavirus may be the ‘great earthquake’ mentioned. And the following step is destruction of Babylon the Great. And then follows our ‘hailstone message’? Any thoughts??

Just saw this item on You Tube, and the run off on purchasing Toilet paper and shortages.  This was pretty interesting and small to have with you.

They are called Wysi Wipes.  Amazon sell's them.  Some are pretty expensive others for a certain amount are not.  Just thought for some when toilet paper runs out, these might come in handy.

This is just an example:

$7.35 ($0.29/count)

( some reviews said not good to flush them down the lou.)

Better to dispose of the wipes properly so as not to clog up the toilets even if they are so called flushable wipes.

Quote

Things like wipes and nappies don't just disappear down the u-bend and dissolve - they clump together and cause havoc in the sewers. All-too-often we see the misery caused to people when blocked sewers have caused their homes and gardens to flood.

On top of that, many of these items end up in our rivers and on our beaches, which has far-reaching impacts on nature and the environment.

It may take a little getting used to, but thinking about what you flush each time will have a fantastic ripple effect - pardon the pun! Put a bin in the bathroom so nobody's tempted to flush and bear in mind the three ps rule: pee, poo and (toilet) paper, only.

Yes was told that by our plumber - we have a wee bin with a plastic liner next to toilet - but there you go with plastic liners - you can't get away from the plastic can you?

Can only do our best.

In our hall, I saw the wife of the CBOE ( from Jakarta) pick up  the rubbish from the plastic lined bins and stuffed it all in 1 bag. In this way we can save on plastic liners. It is so wasteful to keep on replenishing the liners ever so often. A few congregations share the hall : Myanmar, English and Mandarin. Some may not be too aware on how to reduce the use of plastic. I don't see the congregation using biodegradable plastics.

That reminds me to go the Zero waste club for some eco friendly ideas.

Good for her!!!

I use 1 bag and dump all other cans in that 1 bag. I'm very sensitive to leaving a small carbon footprint, both professionally and personally. I'm happy to have only 1/2 small bag of throw away garbage per week from my home.
