Hope to use this area of the site to share any information for anyone wanting to build themselves up to endure and survive or prevent illness like a virus. We know external things to do like washing and social distancing, but there are ideas out there to help us help ourselves we could also try.

These things are not cures, just helps and we should not take anything different without Doc's advice in case of one thing we take spoiling the action of a medication we need.

Ri-disc-ulous!

An Italian man has taken extreme measures to ward off coronavirus, after it was classed as a pandemic by the World Health Organization this week

Social distancing, advised by WHO, involves maintaining at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who coughs or sneezes, as the small liquid droplets sprayed could contain the virus.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

This is not a cure it's just steps that all 5 people in my household have been taking daily to build our immune system.  I have a daughter who has a weak immune regiment so this was given to me for her and was told it is also good for anyone in the household that want to build their immune system.

-1 green tea bag (Organic)

-1/2 tsp Organic Turmeric

-1/2 tsp Organic Ginger

-1/2 tsp Organic Ceylon Cinnamon (sometimes called sweet cinnamon)

NOTE: Not all cinnamon is the same.  Most the stuff in the store is cassia type and is a cheapy version with no health benefits.

-dash of cayenne pepper (rid you of mucus)

-1/2 tsp of vanilla (for taste)

*1/2 tsp wild desert hone or raw honey (optional we don't use any sweetener)

*My daughter who has a weak immune system and my other daughter use a vanilla stevia to help with taste so they are not using anything that turns to sugar.

FYI: it's can be drank warm in winter months or served on ice in the warm months 🙁

VITAMIN "C"

We take 5g (1 tsp) daily of camu camu powder (it's a natural vitamin c).

Hubby takes (10g) daily since he is going in the public

If I feel something sinister coming on I will usually double my dosage to 10g or more.  Camu camu taste awful.  It can be put in juice, smoothies, etc. to mask it.  However since I'm on a keto diet I don't do sweeten things much so I just take it in a bit of water with a few liquid pure monkfruit drops (which is not mixed with anything else).  I try to gulp it down in 1 swallow as it's very bitter.

Vitamin C is really powerful and can be increased based on what you are trying work on.  You have to do research on dosages. Too much could cause you to go to the bathroom.  There is plenty of information on dosages and the bathroom effect and how to deal with it.  I can't use traditional vitamin c which is made in the lab (asorbic acid and ester forms) as they are from corn and I have developed allergies to corn.  I've saw that most corn today is gmo variety and I am beginning to believe it as my body knows if I eat things with corn.  Unfortunately today everything has corn in some form.  "High fructose corn syrup" is the worst.

The help that Dr Andrew Saul and Dr Cheng Ruan sent to Shanghai to help those in hospital with Covid-19 is now being used in New York: https://nypost.com/2020/03/24/new-york-hospitals-treating-coronavirus-patients-with-vitamin-c/   At home we can take vitamin C , up to bowel tolerance, with a meal 1000 mg 2 or 3 times a day. We have effervescent sugar free tablets from the supermarket to give this good dosage.

Get out in the sunshine for 30 minutes at lunchtime when in the Northern Hemisphere we get the most Vitamin D activating sunshine. Vitamin D - is actually a hormone -  is used as well as C in our immune system. As the article says above, C helps our bodies fight sepsis.  Zinc glucanate is another needed.

I swear by turmeric when sick.  I feel it truly helped when I had the flu.

I also found turmeric extremely helpful when I had Covid. Completely eliminated my muscle aches and gave me the energy I needed to function again.
