Zoom updated on my Iphone and Ipad to version 5.8.6 but not on my Android device yet.

My Android phone just updated Zoom the version 5.8.6 so all of my operting systems now share the same version.

All of my devices Apple, Android and Windows had the Zoom update to 5.9.0 in the las couple of days.  They are all on the same page again...🙂

Zoom has updated on my Windows 10 devices.  Version 5.9.1

 

It is not updated on my Android or IOS devices (yet).

@Dismal_Bliss has been using Zoom with Windows 11 - he has joined our Chat several times. You could always PM him and see what he thinks/recommends

I'm on Windows 11 with my Surface Laptop Studio. It works just fine. I read that Windows 11 is basically Windows 10 with a fresh GUI, but there are some changes built from the ground up (like, the Taskbar). 

 

I do have problems with Zoom crashing when I have my 4k monitor attached and have the zoom window on the external monitor. It's whenever someone shares their screen. Zoom stays connected, so I don't get kicked from meetings, but I do get a popup asking me if I want to send an error report.

Any link generated has the password imbedded automatically.

On a PC on the top left of the meeting screen are some icons. Click on them. It will then give you the option to 'copy' a link gg or the meeting you are in. This link will include the pass-code.
On my device under the 'Participants' tab is an 'Invite' button. This will give you options to share the link via some apps and to 'copy link' as well.

May I ask why the passcode is provided separately? If I use the link from the email provided by the brothers, zoom always asks for the password..

Thanks..I use an Android phone or tablet..If I knew how to imbed the passcode into the ID link, it would save me some time example: ID is 1234567890  The code is 987654..How to combine into 1 link?😟

As far as I know it is automatically done within the app. Start the meeting you want to share. Then you can 'Invite' people through the Participants Tab. The code will automatically be imbeded in the link. You can save this link, and use it for your meeting anytime in the future.

Thanks..I am only joining the Zoom meeting with the congregation by means of a link emailed to me..password is an extra step..
