Pictures, jokes for the older ones

I've often wondered why it is that the left hand is shown as the right hand, as in this picture. I've also seen this many times in movies. Is it a matter of the photo being converted somehow in the translation of the photograph or some other technicality.

Like when you see in movies the wheels of a moving vehicle rotating backwards instead of forward...just an observation

"Countries in which wedding rings are worn on the right hand: Norway, Denmark, Austria, Poland, Bulgaria, Russia, Portugal, Spain and Belgium (in some territories), Georgia, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece, Latvia, Hungary, Colombia, Cuba, Peru, Venezuela."

Yes, I anticipated that thought as I thought it too, (just not quite that many), but I questioned it because the ones I've noticed were obviously in the US where it is the custom to wear the ring on the left hand..

And the wheels on the moving vehicles are international...😁

So, does wearing it on the right hand in USA mean your divorced?

Yes, that is (or used to be) the custom

It could be that the picture just got flipped when it was edited - who knows.

Even in all the movies? It had to be that they were flipped, maybe negative to positive, but you'd think someone would have noticed it by now and fixed it...🙂 There are a lot of bloopers that slip through in movies, even live tv...one thing that really stands out to me is the poor spelling Everywhere, billboards, legal documents, et..and never corrected.

The famous photo of Billy the kid got flipped somewhere along the line and for years everyone thought Billy was "The Left-handed Kid." Then some one figured out that Winchester never made a rifle with the loading gate on the left side. Now you mostly see the image reversed and he is no longer "The Left-handed Kid."

I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.

That would be impolite here...🙂

And there are many that English is not their first language..

But I would like to be proofreader...I have a daughter in law that does it for a living...sent to different countries by various big name companies.

They realize how important it is...so does our Organization...
