The nations are very concerned about reemergence of fanatical and terrorist groups in Afghanistan after the fall of the secular government

So yes, this had far reaching consequences.

How the nations will now proceed? Let's wait and see.

Nonetheless these events shake up the whole international community.

Rights of women and others are of concern, and introduction of medieval laws (stonings and amputations) desired by Taliban is simply unacceptable in modern times we are living in.

So it will be interesting to see how the world deals with this new situation.

This is interesting (comes from Australian government)

Mr Joyce described the Taliban as "barbaric regime" which would take Afghanistan "back to the middle ages."

"This battle I believe is not finished, it's got to take another iteration otherwise we say that that form of ideology is sustainable and allowable,” he said.

“And we can't do that."

Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well-spoken-of, whatever things are virtuous, and whatever things are praiseworthy, continue considering these things.

Did they stay too long or leave too early - same question still asked by those involved in Vietnam? It's good we are neutral and we have no opinion.

Death and oppression are always sad.

What is the significance of this ? Why the comparison? Yes Im a youngin

From 1955 to 1973 the US fought a war in Vietnam. Finally the government realized they couldn't win that war and withdrew its troops. In 1975, when the enemy army finally captured the city of Saigon, all the remaining American personnel had to be evacuated in a hurry, as you can see in the picture to the left.

The US government did almost exactly the same thing again in Afghanistan. Joined a war they had no way to win and in the end had to withdraw their troops and evacuate their personnel in the last minute, as you can see in the image to the right.

I can't look at the news reports.  Because the barbarism of Satan's world is so undescibably cruel.  I know many innocents will die in this conflict, and it makes me too emotional.  With everything that is happening now and going to happen in the future, it's so good to know Jehovah will resurrect such ones.  This is the time to really trust in him and his promises.

Is 30:15 Your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust - so, so appropriate for our time now.

I wonder what’s going to happen now? Even the president fled…

Same thing that happened for the hundreds of years before hand - tribalism and relative stability (albeit with serious oppression of women). There will be scattered wars by warlords as they grow in power and influence.

I don't believe there are any JWs there. If there are it's likely they'll be beheaded along with any other who claim to be Christian in this extreme Islamic state.

Let's just say - it's EXTREMELY unlikely that ANY "Christian " organization did any proselytizing in that country.

As an example,  look at its stable neighbor - Pakistan.  There are 220 Million people and 1,000 JWs TOTAL. And they are a much more secular Islamic country. Afghanistan has been extremely unstable,  but extremely Islamic for hundreds of years.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said Sunday in a briefing for Senators that terrorist groups like al Qaeda could reconstitute in Afghanistan sooner than the two years defense officials had previously estimated to Congress because of the recent, rapid Taliban takeover of the country, according to a Senate aide briefed on the comments. Here is also concern a Taliban takeover will further the humanitarian crisis in the country and lead to a resurgence of al Qaeda, which promised in April a war "continuing on all other fronts" against the US.
