Interesting you say that, I wonder if the government has Chapter 11 bankruptcy for itself. He's had to restructure 6 different companies. Time will tell.

 Good points sis. Plus, you can read my mind too.  It was U.S. that  cause the market to crashed in 2008, with the housing market. Talking about people looking at U.S. as a good model to look up to. HA!

I think that fairly soon people will be wondering if they can afford to buy tea as well as sugar etc…. There are very few people who are rich enough in Jehovahs organisation to buy gold etc

 

 These tariffs could very well send the world economy into a severe financial depression the like that will see ‘food shortages’ not because food isn’t available as such but because many will be watching every single thing they spend…

 

it’s certainly not smart to start storing up gold etc… that’s like polishing the brass on a sinking ship

It may become a very valuable item but the Bible warns:

Ez. 7:19 “They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will become abhorrent to them. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them in the day of Jehovah’s fury.u They* will not be satisfied, nor will they fill their stomachs, for it* has become a stumbling block causing their error”

The application is this aboit their not being able to buy salvation. This isn't referring to an economic downturn, recession, depression, or a literal economic crisis.

I am not aware of any government support for stock losses, savings accounts do  have federal insurance.
