For now, the UN is still nothing much than a forum.
They haven't effectively given it much power yet

True, then the next question is how soon after it gets teeth before there is a declaration of P&S.

 

Is it a promise of P&S because they have teeth or is the beast bragging about what it has done to bring P&S to the world. It is going to be interesting to see how much time and events there is between the UN getting teeth and the declaration of P&S.

The prophecy about PS could be fulfilled in so many ways … for example Middle East conflict gets out of control, oil prices become ridiculously high that impacts economies all around the world, fanatics carry out terrorist attacks …nations are tired of it and sit down to talk at UN how to solve the problems … Jehovah puts in the hearts to make move on false religion .. they make announcement to the world that removal of false religion will bring Peace and Security to the world .. then it happens and we are in GT.

Iran said if Israel attacks them, they in return will target energy sectors and refineries in Israel. (Which are located in only few places in Israel and could impact Israel economy greatly) In fact Israel could be targeting oil ports in Iran first. 
Worldwide Oil prices could be raising very high if this happens. 
This is on the news now;
