That’s what I was thinking because the way they talked was too perfect and each person didin’t stutter or stammer, didn’t interrupt and responded immediately after the other person finished. Figured it was some kind of A.I. podcast that supports the UN. I still would like to know its source.

The Revelation didn't say that all nations would give it's power. But, it did say the nations would strengthen the UN and "lend" it authority and power. The fact the Pact was approved shows that the majority of the political leaders worldwide has given their commitment to UN power.

 

The Revelation book says: "When the time comes, the nations will evidently see the need to strengthen the United Nations. They will give it teeth, as it were, lending it whatever authority and power they possess so that it can turn upon false religion.." (Chap 35, paragraph 21)

 

So, they don't need Russia's ok. The fact that they signed the pact committing to the UN shows that it is strengthening and "lending" it power and authority (even if it is temporary). But, it's just enough to set things in motion.

There was a new understanding of Revelation 17 at this morning’s annual meeting

 

“One thought” desire to turn on false religion AND nations handing over political power to United Nations - this will be Jehovah 

 

Governments won’t gradually give their power to UN. Jehovah will put it into their hearts.

My thoughts exactly. That was a wonderful and timely adjustment for Revelation 17:17.  Bro. Jackson’s part needs to be watched several times to absorbed fully. 

 

“One Thought” = Acts of God. 
 

“Jehovah will move suddenly the nations”. A sudden change not gradually.

So no wonder the start of the GT will caught us by surprise. It makes sense.

Food at the proper time indeed and the GB prayerfully considered this one.
