I love Joel.  His Cousin was in my home congregation when I was a teenager.  His name was Dick and he was a fantastic pianist!  I'm sure he played for many of the Kingdom Melodies. They look so much alike. Dick was a fantastic speaker as well. My heart rejoices everytime I see Joel in a video because he reminds me so much of my dear brother, friend and mentor, Dick.

I first met Dick when the organization moved me to Indiana to Pioneer in "need Greater" territory in 1966.  My daughter and her husband Pioneer in that congregation now and rent a house from Dick's widow,  She was downsizing recently and gave them Dick's piano to keep for her.

 

My family was friends with Joel's dad, Tom (back in the day). It is a small world in our organization.

Jwhess I absolutely love hearing all your stories and adventures in life.  Also, your old calendars, etc. are things some of us would never get to see.  Thanks for sharing things like this with us.
