I told my wife whoever won the GT was just around the corner.  A pioneer couple and their son recently moved into our area.  (I have heard that they served at Bethel also.)  The wife told my wife that a lot of Witnesses felt like Trump was the kind of guy that would ban Jehovah's Witnesses.  I told my wife that it wasn't just one country that would attack religion, but all the nations would give their power to the wild beast and attack religion.

 

I don't care who wins.  It does not matter.

For me, the outcome of the election is another fulfillment of Daniel 2:33. Trump will try to rule like iron... But iron and clay do not stick together. The whole construct will become even more crumbly in the future.

Trump’s first term showed that while a win for him could help Russia in Ukraine, it would bring its own challenges, too.

 Just have to wait and see. Do not forget China is part of KOTN and Trump raise tariffs on their products. And we must remember Daniel 11th chpt too. The KOTN and KOTS will push to the end.

Yep.  I mean there's still plenty of time for war to break out & Marshall law to be declared.  Or another attempt on his life.  Or a surprise heart attack from McDonald's.   Etc. etc.

just a quick WILD speculation then i will shut up

 

maybe in the next 2 months between now and when trump is in office, with how spiteful politics are to the core, Jehovah puts it in the hearts of biden/harris/whoever to give their power (while they still have it in office for the next 2 months) and influence the rest of the world to give power to the un, just so trump doesnt have "absolute" or whatever power or control might be a better word when he is sworn in. Almost like a crippling his control and having the un have the lead. Like them saying "we arent moving out before we wreck the place first for you"

 

would be pretty cool. Regardless, thats my CRAZY speculation i was too embarassed to share until now lol

Not enough time for that to happen + I think they're feeling too defeated.  But a good idea, nonetheless.

 

One thing you can count on the government for is being slow.  I don't think 2 months is enough time to make that particular idea happen, unless it has been in the works, behind the scenes.  🤷‍♂️

Unless I lived in New Zealand I would understand but, here in the USA thongs are underwears so, you must understand my confusion.

That depends on your age and location. Back in the 1950's & 1960's, when this style of footwear started to become popular - they were called thongs here in the US.

 

It was not until the 1970's before thong bikinis and then underwear became popular, thus shifting the US lingo to shift the word "thong" from footwear to underwear.

 

Let's just hope that, in keeping with the theme of this thread, the incoming president doesn't decide to wear a thong in public after taking office (or even before, for that matter) - or, if he does, it is the footwear type

This thread has always been a bit of a sore spot. There’s, to me, not much of anything I can think of to say, without It being a, “political opinion”. 
Whatʼs  what is whatʼs is what. 
It will be more of the same. For us. Trying to go about what Jehovah wants us to do, knowing to a certain extent whats going on, secularly, but centering our lives and hope on whats going on with Jehovah and His King, Christ Jesus. 
Jehovah, with Christ his King are in charge. No country on this earth will be any different then any other country. 
All we know is the seventh world power will be standing when Armageddon comes. That is a fact.
