did something happen to brother Lett?

I'm guessing from the comments that he must be looking old, frail and ready for his next assignment.

Ojalá pudiéramos mantener a los GB aquí para siempre. Una de las partes tristes del fin de este sistema es perder su presencia visible en nuestras vidas.

But before that they will be in heaven and before that the end will come 🤭🤔

I don't know why, Sister @LeolaRootStew, I have the feeling that we will always have something of them visible, in the New World. I don't know what. What is certain (but deep down, what do we know?): we will no longer see the wonderful smile of Brother Lett, the twinkling eyes of Brothers Herd and Jackson, the serious look of Brother Splane, we will no longer hear talks from Brother Lösch on the theme of 'time', and all the others, with the characteristics that we have learned to love so much. It will be something else, and never mind if I am mistaken❤️

We already no longer have the deep talks of Br. Franz, the enjoyable discourses of Br. Suiter, and others like Br. Jaracz, Br. Knorr and several others I met and remember hearing at in person Conventions.

However, we have adjusted to the current Body and are quite content with that provision. I'm sure that whatever provision Jehovah directs us to have we will be just as content with that arrangement as we are with our current arrangement.

I think "expect the unexpected" summarizes well how the King and his co-rulers will do their work in the new system.

In the past, on several ocasions, Jehovah sent materialized angels to get a first person account of some events. So, why would Jesus and his peers stay on the Heavens or invisible all the while?

About that, nothing is written... yet. But, thanks to Jehovah, we won't have to wait any longer to know.

Brother Lett is not that old but he has worked hard. I think his wife's illness has taken a toll on him. 😔

Brother Lett and I are approximately the same age, 78.  He was our CO some years back.  He even gave our Memorial Talk one year when he was here.

We all like the GB members we know.  But what about the 'other' 143,970 Kings and Priests we don't know personally?  They are (or will be) just as important.

I think 💬 🤔 the 144001 is like an Elder body that votes on different subjects. Jesus Christ is the speaker of the House and/or President of the House, who casts the tie-breaking vote if needed.

This is just my opinion; I could be totally wrong. We'll find out in the New system.

Matthew 5:46,47 For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have?

Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing?💜🤎🖤

I always forget @jwhess. There is a WT article reference that says Jehovah may reveal the complete list of 144,000 in the new world. It has something to do with the names written in the book of life. An article before the Pandemic.
