What are your top 3 songs by the organization, and why?

I thought of starting this topic because of the songs I was listening to today. I want to hear your favorites as well!

1. With Eyes of Faith I really resonate with the chorus - 

With eyes of faith, I see beyond the darkness.

With eyes of faith, there’s nothing more to fear.

With Jehovah, I am strong,

Determined to go on,

Knowing that my God is always near—

With eyes of faith.

2. Just Around the Corner When listening to this song, I imagine how life will be in paradise, and it makes me meditate on very positive things!

3. Song 38—He Will Make You Strong I really like this video and the childrens' singing in this rendition of the song. The original was also my favorite since long ago. The verses it's from and the words from the song are very powerful and faith strengthening for me.

I put “Victory Song” in first place because for me it is inebitable to be paralyzed and to think deeply. It really stirs my emotions.

 

In second and third place I would put all the old melodies of the kingdom (with piano).

Not sure I have ever narrowed it down to 3 songs. Also, over time my favorites may have changed as new songs were released.

Why? I can't say exactly. I just note that beyond the melody or the lyrics that I greatly appreciate, these songs tattoo particular moments in my life when they arrive, in a monthly Broadcasting. Then,when I listen to them, the heart makes its choices, and I remember the particular moments.

#1 to mention is keep your eyes on the prize. Beautiful description of the new world but mainly because it was my Pas favourite song ( he died almost 30 years ago when I was a young teen) He served as an elder and loved Jehovah dearly. After he passed away my Nana played me a tape of him singing that song, so it's very special to me. 

 

#2 Christian Dedication 

It was the song sung before my baptism 14 years ago, say no more i cried while trying to sing it 😬

 

#3 is hard, i love so many of the kingdom songs - light in a darkened world, God wonderous works but many of the original songs have really found a place in my heart. Only just had our convention here in Australia but I cant stop listening to "To do your will is my delight" i absolutely love it. 

 

But definitely too many to choose only 3 💜

Take what I say with a grain of salt, as these are quite personal 😅

 

 

1 Song 38- He Will Make You Strong

The vocals and chorus in this one really stand out to me. Very powerful and faith strengthening to me. I have a fond memory of resuming in person meeting for the first time in three years after covid and hearing my brothers and sisters sing together as one.

 

2 (Original) Song- Home

Okay, being one who wears his heart on his sleeve, this little gem gets me. 

Although lyrics primarily fixate on someone who may have difted from Jehovah I really relate to it, there's a particular verse: "He'll find you.. call you back with his voice... remind you serving him was your best choice. Losing my father, my brothers and sisters, my home, my job, and courtship all within a few months caused me to feel lost and begin drifting.. Jehovah has always called me back in those times of need.

 

3 (Original) I Want to

Chorus on this one as well as the children music video I particularly enjoy. Jesus spent his whole life Sanctifying Jehovah's name. He deeply cared for people and understood their weaknesses. This song inspires me to give my all to Jehovah, his people, and those I meet outside of the congregation. I listen to this quite often before service just to remind myself the ministry is for my father and my future brothers and sisters not just my personal satisfaction.
