I don't know if you have Apple or Android, brother Jerry, but I have an app on my Samsung phone and tablet that I use for the daily text.  You can set it to whatever time you like to open in the morning. I have mine set to 7am and when I get up in the morning, there it is.  You can also reset it up to 2 hours ahead if you want to read it again or if you don't have time there and then but want it to pop up again in a few minutes.

Well, we finally got the ability to DL audio files. I just deleted this app now that this ability is IN JWLibrary. I would DL the audio for the magazines at home over wifi - so I wasn't using up my data when I was bout to listen the magazines.

 

The new ability in JWLibrary is pretty sweet!! First thing I did was DL all the audio files for the Bible (that we have so far).

 

 

note: I would still love to have a widget for the text

I would like the Study Bible audio files to include the Study Notes.

 

I think it would be nice to use the current audio files for the NWT but dub in the Study Notes and create enhanced audio files for the Study Bible. The information in the study notes could be read at the end of each verse. I think it would be nice to listen to a chapter from the NWT first, then listen to the chapter from the Study Bible with the Notes included.

Although, I’ve started listening to the Bible Reading at 80% speed so I can meditate more. (Documents app on iOS allows different speeds.)

It would take me ages if the Study Notes were included.

 

edit: All the different speech qualities can be heard much more clearly at 80% btw.

Has anyone been using the app called My Tools? I've found it to be very helpful for the ministry, personal study and meetings. 

It's in 35 languages and free..
