Amazing how these days we are finding out about his death within hours of the time that he died.

He was the first one to whom I had written a fan letter (and there aren't many, either).  I wrote it about the time when The Original Series was still on. And, I got a picture from him (well, his publicity agency).   I don't have it any more, but I have followed his career ever since the late 1960's.  I understand that ME TV will be broadcasting some of his lesser known TV and movie appearances this weekend.  I know he played a cowboy a few times, and was on the first Mission Impossible (with Peter Graves).  He tried to escape his most famous role for a time, until he finally embraced it.  Oh, well, Star Trek TOS will probably never go off of the air, for as long as TV is around.

Some Canadians are changing the picture on their $5 bills to make them look like Spock.   Leonard Nimoy was born in Boston, though.

He DOES look like the politician that was originally on it, though --

It might be strange to say, but whenever one of our favorite actors / musicians / artists dies, my wife and I are a bit pleased.

They may have a better chance of being resurrected than surviving Armageddon.

Who knows, of course.  But just something we think about sometimes.

There was one episode, on YouTube, that Mr. Spock actually fell in love. Captain Kirk called out to him and Mr. Spock deliberately defied captain's orders. Hahaha...I guess the human part of Mr. Spock got the best of him.

I try to avoid being glad when someone dies. It just seems wrong. I am glad you said "may have a better chance of being resurrected" because we really do not know. What good would it be to be resurrected if you were an opposer of Jehovah and were resurrected with that same attitude only to be later destroyed. I might assume that my parents and grandparents, etc. would be resurrected but what about the ones that opposed the truth. Will they change? Only Jehovah knows and what he does will be Loving and Just and Wise in harmony with his attributes. People may be very nice and still not be willing to worship Jehovah. Adam and Eve would probably be very nice people but their choice was wrong.
