Awwww, Nancy that's so sweet. You got me right, I love cooking and enjoy a challenge. BBQing is still fairly new but I've only had 1 failure...miserable failure. Never knew ribs could bounce like that😅

Anytime you want to come visit I'll take you and whip you up something delish. But you know, Tortuga's wife bakes, if we could include them we'd have desert!!

These are all pics of me, taken in the same time frame (with the exeption of the bottom right, which was a couple of years back. About 2015). The pictures on the left are a commical satirical/absurdism character that I invented and portray named John Dallas, who is someone from the US, very out of the loop, awkward and overall a bit of an oddball and thinks "he's it" and that women love him. Always thinking he knows it all but is drawing the wrong lines, socially awkward and has strange theories about life (I do some youtube sketches).

 

But I wanted to do the side by sides just to show how your look can so easily change with styling and expression. 😄

At the beach. We are here with the carts. We have 5 cruise ships coming in this month too. 32 ships between now and 2019.

Below is a pic from the last ship that was here in May. We have had the Queen Mary 2 drop anchor as well.

It is too shallow here for the big ships, so they anchor about 5 mile out in the deep, and use 'Tenders' to bring the passengers ashore. About a 20min ride.

The small cruise ships have 2, 000 pax, the big ships 5,000 pax (plus crew)!

We meet lots of friends visiting from all over the world.

I use paint.net (Not the Paint that comes with WINDOWS) to manipulate photos. It has tools far beyond my ken, but is free updates often, no ads.

I use the pic editor l that comes with the phone. I can rotate, draw, edit etc, but on my phone with the Tapatalk app, it does whatever it wants.

I saw it display correctly when I posted it, but I think the spin of the earth affected it by the time it got to wherever it now lives...

(They both look ok now ... here goes)

Neighbor text me, said little bear was on his way over. He was eating some sunflower seeds I had out for the crows, digging them out of the grass. Then he sat on his rump, reached over with his front arm and scratched his bum!!! I had to fight from busting out laughing.

 

The caution tape is so he can see my fencing and not run into it again! Bears have dented it several times.
