My wife loves bananas too - however if going to be in mosquito territory - not a good idea.

After my wife eats bananas, they find my wife even tastier.:eat:

Ahh the benefits of living in the UK... no mosquitos. (Well, there are some, but so very rare, and you never see them where people live, always in marshes, lakes and so on). It's why most windows here don't have screens, not enough flying pests to warrant them.

I myself have never seen a mosquito in the flesh. (Literally and figuratively).

But don't you have something called midges? MH's from Scotland and he said they were there a lot..got in your eyes and stuff because they are so tiny and hard to see you could just walk into a swarm of them...

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

Ummm, years ago yes. The term is a general term that can apply to "any" very small insect however. But when I hear the phrase, I often think if the tiny black flies that were the size of a pin head. I've not seen them since I was 12 years old though! Might be dying out. Usually you'd only find them in lush areas, like fields and such. Swarms of tiny black dots would be all over your clothes.

They'd mainly be attracted to bright colours, like yellow. I recall a teacher going by during an outdoors class, and all the kids leaned away from her because her yellow skirt was covered in them 😄. Don't hurt you though, just a nuisance, I've never seen them bite anyone, at least the ones we have here when using that term. But you'd rare see them in urban areas, and never in houses.

We call them "No See Ums"

Then we have a bit bigger - but still small "Black Flies" in forested area - especially when the Trilliums are in bloom. They can smell you from 2 miles away.

Consciousness, that annoying time between naps!

This is a pic taken from our beaches today. It's how seriously people take clam digging. We must have close to 5,000 (plus) people here from all over digging. On my way to work at 6:30 this morning I passed a solid line of cars heading to the beach approaches.

oh Reese peanut butter chocolate eggs? :D Got it. :poke:

I was driving past St. Andrews international church (Presbyterian) and was surprised that everyone was walking out with goody bags. Is that the bait?

They should try eggs in keeping with the tradition. Bad for the heart, though

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.

You know how dogs are trained to sniff out truffles?

I would have to train one to sniff out clams...if I liked clams...which I do not.😀

I don't think this floor has ever been cleaned. I had 5 people help me do it. Covered in white residue after it was done! No solids put on it,  just cleaned. Was so damaged it wasn't perfect but still clean, manager was thrilled.
