Off topic but here is my version...

To be or not to be, that is not the question

but who to be or what to be, that is the question

For a tilt of the vial or thrust of the dagger and the former is answered

but to be a noble or king, that is the goal of man.

Ah, one of my favorite soliloquy.

The imperative case - also known as a 'direct order' or 'command' sentence: I thought it was more polite when people said, "I hope you get better" or, "I hope you feel better." Now people just say "Feel better," or "Get better." It sounds like it's implying that we can just improve our health on their say so. Maybe it sounds strange to me because it reminds me of being a child when my brother would have a fight (not an argument,) and tell me to 'dropped dead.' I'm also probably a bit spleeny because I generally prefer to be asked, rather that told what to do. Then I'm reasonably compliant.

 Have a nice day. :sunshine:

Interesting thought.

Is "Good Morning" a greeting, request or command?

When people post an ambiguous topic title and then only include a link ..... c'mon, if you already went there, tell us a little about the link - don't just assume that we know what it is about based on the thread title.

Politicians that answer questions with a patronising "Well look ..."

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13

Agreed. I personally would like to know what the link is before I click it. There have been some links posted that I would not have gone to if I knew what they were.

My pet peeve is when I read something that I wrote and don't understand it.

I guess I had to have been there when I wrote it...
