Favourite thread closed... Winthdrawal symptoms

... so now that a certain  thread has been closed (... fair enough, we had done it to death... thanx to the mods for keeping us in control)  ive got withdrawal symptoms, its where i could go to have some lighthearted banter or some serious discussion depending on what had been posted....  so where now? I need my joking and joshing around with my brothers and sisters.... so where to? ... its just a little dry and ... dare i say it ... a little staid... so where does a jokey guy go to get a laugh round here ?

 

 

 

This post is in no way a criticism of the closing of the thread in question... i mean reallly.... how did it last 160+ pages ?!!

Some of us were a bit cheeky, but no harm was ever intended. Maybe when we overly exhaust a subject, it will lead to some misunderstanding and the resulting bristle.  Maybe we used some word whiskers that were regional and not easily assimilated by all. Perhaps we were too edgy and didn't hone our statements professionally, as with a strop.  As Hope said, it was informational. Edu-tainment - that's for me. Yep. We will find that  new conversation stream that is compelling enough to keep us returning when we do not want to think too deeply - a warm up think-piece. Sorry for any who missed out on the ride. It was a well sustained, hair raising, and thought provoking romp.

OT, of course, i am still using my overhead bar for spinal stretching. Finally figured out the difference between chin-ups and pull-ups.  Chin-ups are beyond me and pull-ups are too babyish.

overhead bars are great for hanging clothes on...

 

They are also good if you want drinks on the house...
