Changes to Website Sections

Currently the new sections have links to existing articles from the magazines or other parts of the website.  I wonder in the future if these sections will contain web-only articles, like the way the YPA was removed from Awake! to being web-only.  Maybe we will see features like "Was it Designed" being moved to web-only, and placed under the new science section.

“Was It Designed” has already been moved to the video section.

Has anyone had the letter read yet? Don't want to spoil anything..

What letter Sister Judy? Are You referring to the October 7 letter, addressed  "To all congregations"?

I attended the midweek meeting in two congregations this week. The letter was read in both. After seeing the letter posted on the information board, I noticed it didn't say anything about merging the study and simplified editions of the Watchtower. It's likely because that change will not take place until 2019.

Its very handy having these topics and videos grouped together like that.  You need to research some points about Bible History, its all there.  Or look up something about creation, again there in one place.

Agree. We'll organized. Like how it links to the magazine articles. Love the changes.

The jw.org website now features a section under “Bible Teachings” called “Faith in God.” The new section includes the series “Imitate Their Faith,” previously published in The Watchtower.

Not the same.  ^_^

All that information exists in that format for the other specific groups on the site (children, teens, couples/families) as well... however, that didn't prevent special sections being developed just for those demographics.  Singles are a significant group -- and one we'd hope would exist for awhile between the "teens" & "couples/families" stage in life.  Some of us never get to that last group... and the needs/situations change from being a single teen/young person to being a single middle-aged/elderly person.  It would be nice to see those issues addressed specifically and regularly.

All in good time, I'm hoping.  It took awhile to get what we have and the brothers are always exploring new ways to help sustain us.  :)  Our CO thought such a thing was a really good idea and suggested I write to Bethel about it.  I already have... but I might again!  B)

Have any of the single brothers on the forum asked you which congregation you are in?

Heh, that's too common to feel bad about.  There is probably a three to 1 ratio for sisters to brothers in my cong...  and that's counting wild age differences and non-interest in marriage.
