You’ve been trolling in this thread since I started it lol. What are you trying to say? Having hair doesn’t make one better, less imperfect or more attractive than a person without hair. In my opinion, people who have lost their hair will be able to appreciate their hair more after gaining it back in the new world than a person who has never lost their hair. Just like a person who was skinny and became overweight and then lost all the weight can appreciate being skinny more after they’ve lost the weight. Or how a person who has gray hair and wrinkles will better appreciate being young once they’ve attained youth again in the resurrection…

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

I was participating, not trolling. Well, it's time I trim my activity here and cut myself loose before I get braided into a tangled knot..😁

Perhaps baldness is just a variation, like not being able grow much beard (or, growing a little beard if you’re a woman), and will remain 8n the new world?

I doubt it because if we were meant to be bald I wouldn’t think that we would start off with hair and then loose it. Just my thoughts.

I started thinning out a little on top about in my early thirties.

My life always ribs it to me that when we were married I had a full head of hair. My answer is that this time being married that it fell out, also because of her hair cutting skills with the clippers.

The last bit is true, as one time I had already cut my hair back with the clippers with the number 4 comb (1"). I handed to her the clippers and which had no comb and said explicitly that I just wanted her to use the clippers to tidy it up the back of the neck,  but instead she went from the back of the neck all the way to the top of the head. She looked at the clippers (as they were working hard cutting) and asked me what setting it was without realising what she had done to my head. I had a reverse mohawk at the back of the head.

Her daughter watched all that happened and watched my face in the mirror to see what my reaction would be. I just took the clippers off my wife calmly and shaved all the hair off. She couldn't believe that I didn't get angry at all, just with a disappointed look and just dealt with the issue. She said if her mother did that to her father, she would not be standing where she is, but will be in another room through a couple of walls.

It was some time before I ever let her touch those clippers.

Just read this. So how did you look once you shaved your head? Did you like the look?

At that particular time, our congregation was going through it's dark period with a certain elder and his family. This elder at that time didn't like brothers who shaved their heads when they did have a full head of hair, or even if they had hair on the back on sides. He is always commenting that a man who does this is not behaving as a christian, but as a person of the world. He also refers to funeral practices of where a man shaves their head as part of the custom, and makes some other big points about it. But he didn't like it hen we said that the Apostle Paul used to regularly shaved his head.

When I walked into the Kingdom Hall the next day, I got the sternest look from this elder out of the corner of my eye and he was starting to rush up to me to give me what for.

However, my wife just got in first and blurted out loud "It's my fault that my husband has no hair? What do you expect from a crazy red-haired woman with a sharp blade?"

He just backed off and pretended to do something else. Everyone else at the KH just roared laughing.

Since then, I regularly now cut my hair with a #1 comb (1/4") every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the growth, as if it gets to 1" (25mm) or longer, it just sticks out anywhere. As I usually like working outdoors, I always like to have some hair length to allow the sweat and heat between my scalp and whatever hat I am wearing. Otherwise, I would not mind having a bald head.

An elderly brother who was very bald himself said that I actually had a nice shape skull for a bald person and that it did suit me. There was another brother who had a full head of hair who purposely started to shave his hair just to annoy this elder, also referring to himself as Vin Diesel's look-alike or stunt double, which we all replied that he was dreaming.

To all of you brothers out there:

There´s absolutely NO PROBLEM AT ALL with being bald! Quite the opposite - at least in my opinion:

I know very very few men who would NOT look good bald. Unlike us women, for whom hair loss is usually a disaster, bald men look attractive - and usually much younger. Of course it´s all a question of personal preferences. I speak for myself: I like bald men

Since I stopped using shampoo and hair product, my wife has actually noticed little baby hairs popping up.  Like my hair is starting to come back!!  I'm really hopeful, since genetically speaking, I too will soon be going bald...

We are exposed to more chemicals in the 1st hour of our day than our ancestors did in their entire lifetime!  A lot of the issues we experience are actually caused by us....  :whistling:  Something to consider:

I agree with you and everything that was said in this video. Humans do so many things that we’re probably are going to learn is unnecessary in the new world. You don’t see animals in nature using shampoo. Wild animals bathe with water and their coats are shiny, silky and smooth. My mom explained to me years ago how shampoo dries your scalp and she hasn’t used shampoo in over 15 years.

Another thing I think is unnecessary is lotion. I read an article many years ago that explained how when we put on lotion, it doesn’t just disappear. It goes IN our body! Before you know it, it’s in your blood, heart and brain. My philosophy is, if I can’t eat it. I don’t put it on my body. I used to use coconut oil or shea butter but don’t need it anymore. As you can see from the first post in this topic, I have dark skin, so dry, ashy skin used to show up pretty good on me. This made me feel the need to wear lotion. I noticed that about 2 or 3 weeks after I stopped using lotion, my skin stopped getting dry and ashy. Many lotions have alcohol in them and are designed to give you temporary relief and then dry you out so you keep coming back for more. I haven’t used lotion in almost 20 years and I still never get ashy. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with my skin, unlike when I was using lotion.

Nice!  Yes that is a good philosophy, heard that before (about not putting ON what you wouldn't put IN).

This world revolves around money.  It will be amazing what disappears and what we can accomplish without it.  We as a human race need to learn more patience.  There are so many unnecessary products out there to "fix" problems that would easily go away on their own, probably even faster without assistance.  Or at the very least, without detrimental side effects.

I love what my functional doctor says:  Modern medicine/science would have you believe that your body is stupid and doesn't know what it's doing.  But that's not true!  It's just doing the best it can with the cards it has been dealt.  When we adopt that mindset, perhaps we'd take care of our bodies more, instead of drugging it up with chemicals....

Is this brother still alive? If so, I wonder how he felt watching the new organizational accomplishments video and seeing this bald brother. Or the bald brother that was interviewed in a recent broadcast that used to abuse alcohol, ride with motorcycle clubs and had a bad family life before learning the truth.

By way, does this elder have male pattern baldness?

I had to stop using the one that promised ‘more body’, because it ran down off my head in the shower and made me look fatter. 😉👨‍🦲

It is wonderful to me that under Jesus’ Kingship we have so many opportunities for self expression.

The overriding questions for me are:

Is the bro or sis addressing a personal issue or are they deliberately following a trend/fashion of the world?

What “attitude” does the bro or sis display if someone comments on their appearance?

Have they given consideration to the possibility of stumbling anyone in the cong, or reflecting badly on Jehovah’s name?

Yes, we have a measure of freedom to choose but, “my right to decide” should never overshadow “my love for Jehovah and neighbour” as we try our best to be without spot in these critical times.

Love to all. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
