Now, Ross, don't be holding back, tell us how you really feel...

Just a thought, what about 'theme' reading, instead of Bible chapters?

Like, 'Last Days of Jesus' or 'Gods Kingdom'....no idea if thats even workable, it just kinda popped into my thoughts...

As long as I can do my part in American English (only language I speak) ... I'm in! :bouncing:

What?! No Klingon?! Really now.  Pfft.

Oh and p.s. I'm in too. Just pick a scripture and tell me to read it. I'll have to slap some maple syrup on my lips to grease up my Canadian accent and do a good job eh!

I would love to join the merry group of readers 😺

Too bad all my suggested chapters would be really emotional such as Romans 8, 1 John 3 or peculiar such as the book of Jude. No, but I am really fine with whichever book/chapter you go for.

Edit: Any idea how long until we are going to start? We do have our Memorial reading coming soon if we just can find enough readers for all those chapters? 😊

I just added the names of the original suggesters:

Genesis 1 - Hanah45
Genesis 3 - Hanah45
1 Chronicles 1 - Carlos
1 Chronicles 2 - Carlos
1 Kings 18 - Qapla
Matt 1
Psalm 119 - Intercore (😃), Coony77
Psalm 104 - Friends just call me Ross
Themed reading, eg Last Days/God's Kingdom - Tekmantwo
Book of Ruth - cerebral ecstasy

Memorial reading - Lone Wanderer, Hatcheckgirl

And there was also the suggestion by Qapla to do two readings of the same text, in English and in non-English (if I understand it correctly).  We can decide on this later when we know what we are doing.

We have a nice list of volunteer readers.  Please add your votes to the suggestions above so we can start the project.

Still time for more volunteer readers!

Not exactly, "non-English" - since those of us who only speak English would be excluded.

More like - one English Only ... one the language you normally speak (or another you are fluent in) which could include English.

Depending on how many verses and readers we end up with, some who are fluent in more than one language could do more than one set of verses.

20 readers!

Anymore? Pls also add your name to let  us know your preferences. At this stage it’s a close race between:

Ps 119

Book of Ruth

Memorial reading,

each 2 votes each.

I would like to vote for all three of these. . Could all three of these get done? not at the same time of course but as 3 separate projects?   Because i'm sure we won't want this to end.

While reading the verses is exciting - the work of putting the finished project together is quite a bit of work.

It would be nice to do this more often than we have - but, practicality and available time has to be factored in.
