USA seemingly can't agree on assistance. 

Seems from this article, it seems to be good in Germany (100% wages) and for the Dutch(80% wages) .

There is quite an extensive list of handouts, subsidies and tax breaks. However, many businesses will collapse beyond repair.
With Australia having 6 states and 2 territories, (pop 25 million), it is smaller than most counties (even some cities) in the US.
Although some human governments may put forward solutions for the current situation, it is not a permanent fix.
In a few years from now - as the taxes increase to pay for all this - I'm am sure there will be unrest (if the system lasts that long).

I’m trying to understand something: we have been given instructions from the Gov Body on the importance of being safe during Covid, stay home when possible, social distancing....yet here in Canada I see ones I know personally going away with friends (ones not living in same home) camping or to a cottage.

 

I look at the attached pic daily, we both have been basically locked in, working from home,distancing from everyone, only going out for essentials and yet I see ones doing the opposite.

 

Is there something I’m missing here?!

Are these ones brothers? If so that's too bad but it's their own choice. A sister here, isolated for months now, is going 3 hours away to visit a family member who have also been in isolation. They will be meeting outside keeping distance. It's her choice, hope it doesn't come back to bite her. 

We've been given directions from the slave to keep us safe. If some choose to not listen then they are ignoring Luke 16:10, this mandate is to keep us safe, there will always be those who choose to stretch the boundaries but at what cost?

Probably we all have different perceptions of what is reasonable.

 

The Slave has given us good advice and we do well to put it into practice. What others do is their responsibility.

 

At least that's how I view it.

Gyms, Restaurants struggle a lot, any business that has a building to operate and pay rent will feel the pain badly. 

Our daughter is running a gym (see website here http://ebfit.com.au/)

We have warned her and her husband not to open a gym (we had good reasons), but they did not listen, now they are stressed beyond belief. 

Trying to comfort them a lot, and not reminding them about mistakes they have made. (They are in the truth but inactive) 

I think they will not survive as a business.

And that's probably what leads to the frustration of government officials as cases rise and they impose seemingly endless restrictions to "crush" the virus. Even our governor came out the other day and imposed more restrictions in order to, in her words, "nip this in the bud" by the time the school year begins. 

 

In my opinion, that's just delusional thinking. Restrictions are specifically designed to slow (not stop) the spread. I'm not sure when this became an effort to use restrictions as a mechanism to eradicate COVID.

Lord help us all!  None of us know the outcome or finale of this pandemic.  We hope and pray that Jehovah's Kingdom will come shortly because, only his Kingdom can eradicate this and all other ills of man including, racism, poverty and the breakdown of society as we all can witness to as we see governments pulling at straws and other nations trying to take advantage of the breakdown of the USA.  We know according to prophecies that we are the last "empire" amen to that!  Come, Lord Jesus Come!

I guess ones deciding to not follow direction is similar to your quote from a few mos back you told me: “not my circus, not my monkeys.”

Just another reason why I personally am thinking long and hard about removing myself from Instagram so I don’t see this stuff, which just gets me frustrated.

My wife is determined to go see her dying mother in Riverside county, California. Outside of LA, it has the highest rate.

She is finding loopholes in border crossings - after Aug 21 - however that date almost certainty will be extended

- some experts are figuring early to mid 2021 or longer stating it would be political suicide to open border anytime soon.

Sadly it is still increasing way to fast. Different sites count differently. I use just one site called 'Worldometer'.
It gets updated in stages, depending on when the reports get filed and tallied.
Currently the estimate is 200,000 infections a day.

When the worlh hit 18,000,000, it was around 689,000.

It is gotten out of hand and politics and greed is the main blame for this. If they took strong measures of it in the beginning, it would not probably would be this way as now.

Politics aren't necessarily the blame. Fauci in late February said we didn't have to change our lives, and didn't have to worry at that time, but that it can change. 

 

 

The reason why we got hit so hard is because we simply didn't know just how seeded COVID was in our community until it was too late. Combine that with the fact we got the more contagious European strain of COVID:

It was here, and we just didn't know how deeply seeded it was. So politics did not play the role that people often claim. Ignorance, and early views of Fauci and others contributed to this thing running wild. It was just unfortunate because we were playing catchup from the jump.
