Today I heard a woman says she has strong immune system and this virus is another flu or cold. In due time, she will get it.

“Their last dying words are, ‘This can’t be happening. It’s not real,’” Doering said, adding that some patients prefer to believe that they have pneumonia or other diseases rather than covid-19, despite seeing their positive test results.

Wow, a friend of mine (non-Witness) just posted that she has COVID-19 for the 2nd time this year! This  ain’t no joke! She tested positive for antibodies, so it’s a lie that the news said experts say you won’t get it again!

 

She wears a mask, washes her hands frequently, takes precautions, and  hasn’t been around anyone who has it, and she is only in her 30’s! She is physically very fit, she and her husband own a gym and he is a famous fitness guru.

 

And a vaccine? What good it that going to be, if having antibodies doesn’t stop you from getting it? Thus is nutz...🤦‍♀️

 

And the word “vaccine” is a false sense of security....IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO VACCINATE FOR A VIRUS....THERE NO VIRUS VACCINES IN EXISTENCE.  The current “vaccine” they are working on WILL NOT prevent you from getting it, but may lessen the severity if you do contract it.

PLEASE DO NOT GO OUT UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

Obviously she has been around someone who has it.  She just didn't know she came in contact with someone with Covid.

Yes, vaccines do not work for viruses. That's why when you have a cold or flu they cant give you anything for it but pain killers and time.

Perhaps a vaccine will help lessen the symptoms, but I'm still very wary of anything coming out now. Rushing any new med is very scary.

I believe the medical / scientific fields say that Polio is a type of virus. How can what the professionals say can be reconciled with the 2 above statements.

My thought is, as far as the gym setting...there needs to be lots of decontaminating between uses..also..the virus can be in the air! Not only masks, but gloves and a shield for the eyes could be more protective.  Hard to imaging ones working out in a gym wearing ppe the entire time! I saw on tv that there are special fans..some as wide as 6' being sold to businesses that produce blue light that kills viruses by circulating the air in a room up and over the fan..also fans that produce  negative ions that clean the air. I do not have a link, but should be easy to find. 

 

My understanding about the mRNA vaccines is that it causes a person's own cells to make spike proteins so that the immune system will recognize the virus if it enters the person. It makes one question what effect a mutation of the spike  protein might have on the effectiveness of a vaccine.

A day out in COVID.... Nov 18, 2020

 

My armor wear!  2 masks, 1 N95, other thick Cotton a face shield that covered my entire face down to my chin, gloves (new right out of box onto my hands, as going into 2 stores for stock up items, not much of a selection cause the shelves were empty.  Stopped at my a RV, that got started the day before Oct 31st, the tech was interested in having a magazine.  Enclosed was a short note, and my phone number if questions arise.  The last stop, my x-physicians office to pick up documents, wearing the astronaut headgear.  I must say, people looked at me like I was nuts, but you know, am protecting myself as best I can.  It's not me in the hospitals, it's unfortunately them!  Home safe, cleaned up, clothes and space suit laundry!

What's also scary is that you can be infected but not showing symptoms since it can incubate for 14 days of more; the test will show negative so you will feel safe and  unknowingly be infecting others.

There's so many questions about the accuracy of these tests I wonder why so many are trusting them with their life. Even if I got a negative result I would still not feel sure.

But even after that we could get infected..your circumstance can change on a daily basis..how many times would you need to be re-tested that would make any difference..although I read that they are coming out with at-home test kits now.

 

We will be safer if we follow the example of the GB than going about our lives and then relying on unreliable testing that doesn't seem to be slowing it down at all.

Just read on MSN (if they can be trusted), that 1 American is dying every minute, testing or not..

Yes L, you're right. I was confusing antibiotics with vaccines. Thanks for correcting me.

But I still feel leery about a rush job on a new vaccine.

Actually, the whole purpose of a vaccine is to fight against the virus.

 

The flu vaccine fights against the flu virus.

The polio vaccine fights against polio virus.

The smallpox vaccine fights against smallpox virus.

 

The fact that polio and smallpox are not as rampant as they were 100 or 200 years ago is proof that vaccines work.

 

Nothing is foolproof, however.  Wash your hands.  Take your vitamins, stay away from sick people.  Wear your mask.  All of these preventive measures are necessary to slow or hinder the spread of viruses.

I believe you can get infected more than once, but they've found that many times a discharged patient is not completely free of it.

So they have a relapse from the damage the virus has done to their internal organs, which some deal with for the rest of their lives.

This is really a most treacherous and confusing disease..

Yes I've had people quote that %1 number like it was nothing to worry about, but when you put it in perspective like you did, it's really a lot of people. If any of them were themselves or their loved ones I think they would have a different point of view..

Yet, smoking cause 480,00 deaths per year in USA. That is about 1,300 per day.
