Yikes, I never thought of that. 1000 years of undistracted demonic planning. 😬

Actually I addressed this very subject in one of my posts. I will attempt to find it and put a link to it, but here is the QFR on the subject. Granted it's from an older Watchtower...but it makes a lot of sense to me: Questions From Readers — Watchtower ONLINE LIBRARY

Now you can pivot to promoting God's standards instead of defending a random political figure, which has no solution at the end of it. Isn't that a better conversation than convincing someone they were "wrong" about Charlie Kirk? Correcting someone's beliefs about Charlie Kirk does not lead to everlasting life.

This is always what I try to do. Because political AND social activists can be bigots on one side and align with scripture in another area. They follow their own standards of when and how to apply bible scripture. I’ve seen people talk about praying for one side and being happy when bad happens to the other, then switch to wondering why when something bad happens to someone they like, they are upset that people seem happy about it.

The world is flat out crazy and no one makes sense anymore. We have to stick to our “talking points” which should always about the Kingdom solution. Empathize with whoever you are talking to. It’s all bad and we can agree with them that these are sad situations. There is a lot of injustice and hate to go around. We do not need to delve into why they feel the way they do about leaders and activists. Their feelings are their feelings. Let us maintain a neutrality that allows us to even be in front of opposing sides/viewpoints and yet the points we discuss apply to all because Jehovah wants everyone’s problems to be fixed.

Jer 29:11-“For I well know the thoughts I am thinking toward you, declares Jehovah, thoughts of peace, and not calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”

Psalm 56:3-“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
Romans 8:38-”For I am convinced...”

I am not sure, but I think it’s possible for USA trace origin of those drones via satellite data, so it seems highly unlikely that Ukraine would take that risk, but hey anything is possible. It’s a strange time period for sure.

Was it 1,5 or 2 years ago that Ukraine anti-air missile went off course and fell on Polish barn killing 2 people? In the very beginning it was thought in was a Russian module but after careful examination it was revealed - I guess by Ukrainian, Polish and American sources - that it was in fact a Ukrainian misfile. It was against Ukrainian or NATO narrative but still it was reported factually.

So I don’t think the recent intrusion by Russian drones is a lie. I guess they were Russian. What does it mean? Ultimately, that Satans system is founded on hate.

🙏 Thank you! 🙏

Ohh, thanks Tim. Exactly the opposite of what I thought. Very interesting. Sister @LeolaRootStewJustinah was right, as usual 😘, to ask the question.

That’s why, when I watched the video, it felt like seeing the Great Tribulation from the point of view of someone in the middle of looting and mass protests. 😬😬😬

People were doing whatever they wanted—without any regard for laws...

That’s what came to my mind as well and we will be seeing a lot of this soon

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

It really looks like they are right now, at least here in the US. I know people who WILL NOT be obedient to authority. They rebel like never before, look how many shootings we have, so much chaos. Will it get worse? Possibly but the scriptures do tell us society won't completely dissolve into utter pandemonium. Reading 2 Tim.3:1-5 leaves no doubt that its not going to be a joyride to Aday despite the seeming "normalcy" around us.

I mean political figure or not, if someone is slandering someone, should we not ask for proof of this no matter the side? I mean if someone told me that someone on this website threw a hotdog at an old lady, i want proof of it.

I have fallen in that trap too at times. I have some workmates who have strong political ideas and at times I have tried to reason with them about political matters. Although I was careful not to break my neutrality, they didn't view it like that. In the end, discussing political matters won't take you anywhere. It's much better to focus on God's kingdom and what it will achieve.

I think every governments official reaction to anything is to lie first (exactly what Satan would do) and not take any accountability for anything unless the act is blatantly obvious.

They lie even when they know that everyone else knows they're lying. They don't even blush.

This seems to be the origin of the expression "That's my story and I'm sticking to it".  It's an attempt to deflect a lie with humor.

There was a story told by a man who was a phycologist.  He had a young child, toddler age.  There were cookies on the table and he told the child not to take any.  Then when he comes back into the room there are two cookies missing.  He asks his child "Did you take two cookies?"  Child says "No.  You did".   This response blew his mind.  And how would a child come up with such an obvious lie?

That story, apparently, is by B.F. Skinner.  He explains it as the manipulative and evasive nature of language.
