Odd, I looked at the 11 recommendations in the attached Word doc and did not see anything about calling on "government to destabilize religions from within by supporting pro-LGBT factions within religious denominations."

 

What I did see was things like:

We should always discourage the use of violence against anyone – even those who do not share our beliefs ( see Matthew 5: 43-48)

 

I had not heard of C-Fam before and looked at their "About Us" page ( https://c-fam.org/about-us/ )

So basically, they are an organization dedicated proving the UN is bad and paying for others to do the same. Well, if all you look for is bad – then all you’ll find is bad. I love being a JW as we are always looking for the “TRUTH” and “GOOD” news. AND we find it often.

so apparently it's been in the works for a bit, I'm just now hearing of it.

The report makes pronouncements regarding scriptural interpretation and theology.  It disparages interpretations of Judeo-Christian scripture that condemn homosexuality as “dogmatic” and modern “homocolonialist” inventions and asserts that the morality of homosexuality is a “matter of theological debate.”

 

Bit hard to misinterpret Romans 1:26,27 and 1 cor 6:9,10 to mention just two scriptures dealing with the subject.
