There are 17 sustainable goals to be achieved before 2030 and it seems impossible for them to do so.
that’s the reason the pact for a governance was settled last September
Those 17 reasons may justify the need to hand over power to UN

Or an asteroid may come into direction of the earth

Opinion:  Wouldn't it be interesting as we see the nations in chaos that Biden instead of handing over the presidency to Trump hands over the power to the UN just to get even with him?

And, if not I do not see another president coming in after Trump.  I believe we are in the vicinity of this old system closing immediately.

The reason:  There is no end in sight or agreement that will quell these nations that are in an uproar.  Something has to give.  Jehovah could use possibly this opportunity to bring this to a swift end.

1 Kings. 22:19-23

Jehovah will create the trigger at the exact point he needs to fulfill his schedule.

I think by now with all these understandings it’s pointless to look for a trend or a sign or a reason for the power to be hand over to UN

Eph. 3:20 “Now to the one who can, according to his power that is operating in us, do more than superabundantly beyond all the things we ask or conceive”

This system is exhausting and some days I'm just over it. So good reminder that we shouldn't be complacent but keep busy in serving Jehovah.

I hear ya'sister. Completely.

   Hang in there.

trust & love our wonderful Father, God, & Friend Jehovah more each and every day.

He is preparing us for troubling things to come.

and then wonderful things to come.

At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion,

and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening..." ~ Malachi 3:16

But why would the rest of the Nations follow suit? It's probable that the impetus to handing over power isn't even on our radar yet.

I think you're right. They have their own agenda, no doubt sown by Satan as ruler of this system.

The beast will rule for "one hour". We will see just how far Jehovah let's them go.

Nothing bad can last forever!

I want to share with you how the lyrics to Audrey's song became a blessing and used me to bring comfort to an elderly sister who tonight was feeling sad because 25 years ago her husband died.

I emailed her the mp3 file and copied the lyrics for her. Then I sent her a text telling her to check her email. She replied back, sharing with me that this was the anniversary of her husband's death. She was having a different night.

The song and lyrics brought her comfort. I took a screenshot of her message. Thank you again for being a precious gift from Jehovah.

I don't remember if I wrote this in the annual meeting thread. I thought back to the warnings about conspiracy theories, and when I heard the updated understanding of Rev. 17, I couldn't help but think about all the conspiracies about the UN taking full control. It often comes with an angle of "we have to be afraid & we have to stop it from happening". Now with our understanding that Jehovah causes them to give their power to the UN, it's clearer to see these individuals are almost to the point of directly fighting against God. We don't want to be in that position at all.

How do you make it more clear that the anointed are with us during the GT? A person is confused with Bro Jackson conclusion. Thinks first the resurrection of the anointed then the "one thought".

One way is because Ezekiel chapter 38 describes Gog attacking Israel, symbolic for Christ’s anointed brothers during the end of the GT. Also, the sheep are judged toward the end of the great tribulation by how they treated the anointed on earth, something they wouldn’t be able to respond to had the anointed been taken to heaven before the GT.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

The Watchtower comments on "What we DO know".  The May 2024 Watchtower:

*** w24 May p. 11 par. 11 What Do We Know About Jehovah’s Future Judgments? ***
For example, we know that at Armageddon, people will be dealt with on the basis of how they have treated Christ’s brothers. (Matt. 25:40) Those judged as sheep will have shown their support for the anointed and for Christ. We also know that some of Christ’s brothers will still be on earth after the great tribulation starts and will not be taken to heaven until shortly before the outbreak of Armageddon. As long as the brothers of Christ are still on earth, it is possible that honesthearted individuals will have the opportunity to support them and the work they are doing. (Matt. 25:31, 32; Rev. 12:17) Why are those facts significant?

Thanks for the Watchtower reference. Didn’t have much time to look for one.

I had the idea that the anointed ones would finish their earthly careers (or change their assignment) during a period of time before Armageddon. A few per day or so…

Obviously I was wrong

ALL anointed alive during GT will die at once suddenly just before Armageddon

this was new for me

In the talk Br. Jackson gave, he said that the anointed will be all over the earth in their assignments and the Great Crowd (including any 'late-comer' new ones) will be there to assist them.  We all will work side-by-side until they are gathered and "reassigned" suddenly.  Remember the graph?

Just reflecting on this John, how excited the brothers in Christ must be to go “home.” (John 14:3) They don’t “beg off the tent” or the life that they have now but to think they will be before the very face of our Lord Jesus and his Father to never die again is truly wonderful. (2 Cor. 5:4; Matt. 18:10) To know intimately the very personage of Jesus and to worship and speak to their God within the very vicinity that He exists is just beyond words. They will live as long as God himself lives. One word: Joy. (James 1:12)

“It’s not a matter of how much we know, but how much we love what we know.”
