US Gas prices - up or down?

2.99 today.  Gone up.10 per gallon this week.

It’s $4.79, here local. Down the road a bit, it’s $4.59. The cheapest in these here parts!

If you want gas prices to go down bring back the pandemic.  If everyone stays at home more the demand goes down and the prices go back down.

According to this and AAA gas in US Dec 24,2024 was $3.00 a gallon.

 

It will be interesting to see if this changes.

In California on 2-2-25 @ Costco Regular 87 is $4.299.

 

Have gas prices gone down? Well, this was posted in February that the price in December was 3.00 a gallon on average.

 

Today it is $3.10 - I don't have great math skills but that looks like it's higher, but at least not that much.

Where I am, a price I saw last night was $2.619. I do not remember what it was 8 months ago. Though AI tells me was $2.949 back then.

I must admit - I didn't mind the pandemic times at all. If we had to do it again, it would be fine with me
